I have to be the first to admit im a born again group player. I always loved playing solo and being on my own. Until recently i discovered how well JTL performs in groups, granted there is some polishing that need done like group WP's is the big one. The space grouping can be alot of fun and turn a damn near impossible solo mission to a walk in the park with only 1 wingman, let alone 3-4 people. I climbed the ladder to 4,4,4,3 solo and i have to admit i missed out on ALOT of fun. I finally broke down on my 4th tier 4 mission and asked for help, it was the greatest thing i have seen in a long time. Cooperative destruction and wanton disregard for imperial law.I encourage even the most hardcorp soloer's to try grouping at least once, it changed me and im sure it will get you to look at JTL in a different light. Now im asking people if they need help on their missions and just grouping up for random killings.

Why the hell someone one starred you is beyond me. I have to agree with you on everything you said. I still like to solo stuff but I also love grouping in space.. It is quite frankly a blast.

If only grouping in the ground game were as fun as grouping in space.....

But I agree. Grouping for the tougher missions is a lot of fun.

Ive noticed the fun as well associated with jtl grouping. I mean, the xp is the same, no one steals any xp, and there are generally more people and the missions are cooler. but thats just from my experience and maybe all missions are not like that.

Thats Just My 2 Cents

I totally agree, grouping in space is so much funner than flying solo.

In fact, the space combat really lends itself to grouping, while it seems that everyone is so overpowered in the ground game now that grouping only slows most players down.

I've got nothing against solo artists, but I think the solo play style misses out on the best parts of JTL.. The final master mission is the greatest of group battles, where you really need a large group.

In my opinion it's the only way to fly.. i feel lonely without my wingman.

Also, some sort of voice communication is crucial.. my PA is on teamspeak.

My PA uses Team Speak also. I still wish however they would put in a WP for the whole group to see though. Would make grouping alot better, especially when some have to hyper out for repairs, its kinda hard to regroup.

It's only fun the the first few times I group, then the feeling isgone. The fun associated with groupingis very fleeting. And yeah, Xp is the same, but loot is not. If you group with people higher lvl or who can kill faster than you, all you willget is xp.

What i do is if i notice im getting all the credit loot and loot drops, i honestly slow down on the trigger and maybe just shoot things once or twice. After i see them get a few in a row i go back to my normal rutine then repeat as neccesary.I like to keep it fun for all involved but thats just me though.

JtL grouping is incredibly fun. The other night there were about 20 of us in a group pouncing on the Star Ravager Corvette when it jumped in... you could have swornwe were in the space battle during Return of the Jedi... it was sweet! Almost brought tears to my eyes...

Yea, I have to agree that grouping in Space is a ton of fun...so much, that I prefer it to soloing now...If the Devs wanted to encourage group play well I think they got it...in Space...hopefully, they'll be able to fix some of the ground combat enough to encourage more "fun" group play as well.
