i'm curious about what kind of stats you are all coming up with on adv blaster rifle barrels and adv power handlers.

I want to know the stats for common sub-components

sword cores

reinforcement cores

blaster/ pistol barrles

stocks

etc....

So I can compare to loot drops and know what is worth anything

Aethal Sar, Weaponsmith. Retired from game - probably missing it already!

I have a quick question. I have a looted capacitor with something like 1350.0/550.0 for the charge and I saw a crafted one with 0.0/570.0. Which is better? I wish there was a guide or faq somewhere that described all of the stats for each of the components and said whether high or low was good for each one.

The first figure is the current charge, the second figure is the max charge.

Now I don't know the official reason but capacitors have a 1350 charge in them when you launch, don't know whether this is stored energy or what but it quickly disappears and goes back to normal when you start firing weapons.

The second example shows a capacitor that needs recharging, probably from being disabled in space combat, the person has repaired it and taken the capacitor out without going into space to recharge it.

Is there a useful guide on ship component stats anywhere?

Knowing what all the numbers mean and if a higher or lower number is good or bad would be of some help.

I apologize if this has already been addressed, but my searches have not turned up anything. I would like a better explainantion of the stats on the ship components. What is good and what is not. I looted an engine last night with low hitpoints, but high max speed. It has 180 accel in yaw, and pitch. Another number in roll. My question in this situation is this, what is better a low number in yaw, pitch and roll acceleration, or a higher one. The engine I bought from a vendor has a higher number in these areas, but higher hitpoints. Sorry to be a pain, but what am I looking for???

I am trying to understand what some of the stats mean on different components. I understand the hitpoints. I understand the single numbered ones. What I don't understand is things like Capacitor energy which has 2 numbers X/Y. At first I thought it was "first gun/second gun" but that was debunked last night in a Y-wing. I thought it might be like hitpoints also where it's "current/max energy" but I have a Capacitor (looted and RE'd) that is 1350.0/761.8. What does this mean? It was never used in a ship with a droid and it has been used in space like this.

I can post a picture if it would help anyone to see it.

Any thoughts?

I believe that the second number is the actual energy that the capacitor is capable of, and the first number is just the current capacitor charge. I haven't really taken the time to test if this is really the case, but that is what I've been assuming.

From everything I can tell the first number is the current, and if it has never been used it jumps to some random number sometimes, the second is the Max amount, you notice this with shields as well, the current sometimes is higher than the max, but it drops back down to normal once your in space.
