the new system for JTL will make all players happy with some compromises. LIFE is nothing but compromise.

PVP players attacking PVP players...ONLY, this is a good thing

PVE players happy in that they dont have to worry about getting greased by some hopped up nutcase who loves to shoot down other players.

No TEF in space is a GOOD thing... whether you agree with me or not, the Devs want it this way.

life is compromise people. you cant always get what you want... anyone over 9 years old should know that already.

ignore the PVE players that are shooting down NPC's it doesnt matter. if you want to shoot down other players because it fits with some superiority complex you have FINE.. im not saying shooting other players is wrong... in fact it would be more fun. BUT you should only be able to shoot down others who AGREE WITH THAT PLAY STYLE

how can i get it through your thick skulls people. that most players on SWG and who will also all buy JTL, are PVE players... quit your griping and live with it folks. you are going to get all PVP zones.. so be happy. and youll be able to gank other overts if you like that sort of thing... but JTL will NEVER be all PVP...

because and ONLY because SOE will lose money and players if they make JTL all PVP..

thats that!. finished. deal with it. if you dont like it fella's no one says you have to buy the game..

life is compromise people get used to it.

Yeah its cool that many different playstyles have been thought about. I also dont see how people would enjoy taking down other players that dont have the same playstyle as you and dont intend to.

The system as its currently set up enables you to fight only those who want to fight you and will enjoy fighting you. The fact you can filter out the players who wont enjoy fighting you can only be a possitive.

Your right on the money. PvP and PvE communities need to be seperate. I hope a similar change is made to the GCW on the ground. Forcing pve players to pvp is just silly.

I don't remember there being any sort of outcry when everyone thought factional ships meant you were always overt.

I agree that PvP and PvE needs to be seperate, not everyone wants the same thing.

My problem are that neutral players will be allowed to fly faction space ships, meaning that it will be ok to be neutral and fly around in a TIE-fighter or X-wing. Thisdont make any sense at all.

The devs have said that they want to increase the Star Wars feeling in the game, this is a step in the opposite direction!!!!

The star wars feeling will only get worse if I see a group of neutrals piloting TIE-fighters and X-wings!

Other way around is fine with me since it is possible to have a modified "civilian" ship and still work for a faction.

I dont care about the PvP aspect, sure its fun but not the most important aspect of the game

What I do care about is to get the genuine feeling when I am flying around. Seeing neutral faction space ships will not achieve this....

The Storm is here. It comes to ravage everything in its path.
It has a purpose, it has a goal...
And I am the carrier of that Storm.

you want to know why?

because that made the pvp players happy, and the pve players were the ones forced into going neutral even if they wanted the faction ships... but they didnt complain because they arent immature a**holes. they accepted it, i know that i did anyway... i accepted it and said so be it.

but now that they changed it, the pve players are happy with it. but they upset the pvper's dreams and since they like to complain... well... they are complaining now arent they? its about time the DEV's did something for the PvE players in this game. =)

Thats because both PvP and PvE communities are not equaly represented on this forum. The outcries that did surface got drowned out by the "Just Go Neutral" responses that basically said 'dont participate in the GCW then'.

There were outcries but its hard to see in a crowd

a neutral player will be able to become a rebel or imperial pilot and fly the respective factional ships. In this way they will basically be picking a faction. While in space they will most likely be aligned according to their pilot class while on the ground they will be aligned according to their faction status. Privateers won't be flying x-wings and ties and imperial pilots won't be cruising around in hutt fighters.

Essentially, it seems that your faction alignmentin space will be determined by your pilot profession.

It seems pretty well represented, you're all here now, where were you before?
