Thread: y-8 mining ship quest bugged?

im trying to do the quest to get the y-8 but currently im on a mission to escort 3 y-8's out of the kashyyk sytsem... but no mattre what i do the mission never seems to spawn or giv me a waypoint? i have a icon in my data pad for it i can abort it which makes me fail but when u select activate wp it does nuthing and on details the description is blank. and help plz?

Yep, its bugged since pub 18, and sadly thers no workaround for this

I just ran into the same problem myself. Hopefully after the BH nerf they can focus on actually fixing things I hope.

Yeah, I have this problem too. The trandoshan weapon quest is also bugged,
I'm glad the devs felt that trivial increases to some professions outweigh actually fixing the things that don't even actually function.

Yay! I had hoped to do this and get the ship with the off chance it had been fixed...but it is still broken. Oh well, I guess it gave me something to do...and maybe someday there will be a reward.

This has been bugged for to long, I widh the devs would get off there rears and starting fixing some stuff. I can wait a month or 2 for the next publish if it means stuff that has been broken for a long time gets fixed.

i had the same problem but this is how i got around it,in the quest window it tells you to search around a nebula,cant remember the name...but its a poi,i auto piloted to the nebula and sure enough..there they were.i hope this helps you guys

i don't recall reading anything about a nebula in the mission description, and the conversation with captain koh was something like "aid the y8 mining ships on their way through kashyyyk space" or something. but, i'll definitely try flying around every nebula when i get off work tonight.

nothing happens when you fly into this nebula.
the mission is most definitely bugged.
