Thread: A Idea For Jtl With Jedi Profession
. Even know I will be the one most likely hunted sooner or later. But what if a Jedi was in Jtl Flyin around wouldn't it be cool for the Bounty Hunter to track him down in Space with his Starship. This may even up the odds a bit for a Bounty Hunter too. Just a thought and I wanted to share it. Thank You. I will bump this post every once and a while to see what everyone thinks.The purpose of this idea does not support Jedi's being Stronger in JTL. If u read the post throughly it says this could benifit a Bounty Hunter. Not for the benifit of a jedi. Besides what is a Jedi to do in space trow his lightsaber at you lol. Besides I think the way JTL is the better the ship the stronger you are. So this means it all depends on the parts u put in it and what level u are at in the pilot profession. I was only considering this as a idea for a new ship for only jedi's to be able to access ( I said nothing of any force powers involved in this ). So pleaselet's notget the wrong idea here. I am only sayin this becuase i like the idea of a bounty hunter following a jedi in space to hunt him down and blow up his ship. Do u really think a bounty hunter can kill a Jedi Knight that easy. But then again if he was in space he may have a chance to blow him out of the galaxy.
I think people are too quick to shoot down any idea that contains the word "Jedi", simply because of their inherent and unjustifiable hatred of them. I don't think this idea is so unreasonable especially since it would entail little more than additional artwork, and that is rarely ever a bad thing.
Now of course we've all heard the mantra a million times of how Jedi don't fit into this timeline, but I think it is high time people got used to this little fact--they are in the game! You can't expect everyone to ignore something that has been officially integrated into the game. Besides, everyone blows the number of Jedi way out of proportion, and I personally only see one once a month or so. Given there are so few people in space as it is, these fears of seeing a space sector filled with Jedi Starfighters are somewhat irrational.
As a little disclaimer I should point out I am NOT a Jedi, nor is it likely I ever will be since I don't think I can devote the 8 years necessary to grinding through all the FS boxes. I don't see the harm in giving the Jedi their ship.

People don't hate the jedi, people hate what SOE made the Jedi represent. Don't confuse the two. I love playing jedi in games where it fits the story. I just find it a joke that someone who takes the time to grind tonnes of xp, gets a second character slot and an uber profession. True, they earned it through the work they did, but SOE should have never said Jedi would be playable. Heck, I have been playing the game since day 1, and at the minimum, I deserve the second character slot.
