come on!! i'm imp on the ground wanted to be a spy for empire in space and help friends on both sides.. i can't get enough ppl to destroy the imp one since 80% of my friends are imp ... come on!! neutral should be able to go after either side imp or reb .. just choose at that stage ...
ugh .. 4/4/4/4 neutral for nothing .. time to start over..

mmk. I forget which is truly neutral(Jabba or Corsecs). RSF I know is neutral but has an alliance with the empire. One of the other two is completely neutral while the other has an alliance with the rebels.
You might check and go to the imperial master mission giver. If that doesn't work then Jabba's is the one with the rebel "lean" to it. So, there won't be much you can do about it as a member of Jabba's for just this one mission.
If you decide to change, then being an imperial on the ground, going RSF from Naboo might be a good choice, or if Jabba's isn't the truely neutral one, then Corsec's so you can pick. If you do decide to change though you will have to start totally over.
One thing you might also consider, although I know you don't really want to shoot down an imperial corvette,is if you have no choice but to attack the Imperial corvette for Jabba's you may want to do it anyway just to master then change. Every time you master a pilot profession you advance twice as fast if you decide to start over because of changes to xp. This is to make it easier for pilots who just want to change and try out something new or try out other missions since you already did the grind once.

as rsf i could not engage imp target .. a friend as corsec could not engage rebel targets.. so jabba had to be the neutral one .. anyone got a wp to the imp general?

The Smuggler Alliance permits the Privateer to fire both on alliance and imperial ships.
It's odd flying in kessel and all the npc ships con yellow to you. At least when I red show up it's a player hehe.

CorSec can attack both rebel and imperials in Kessel
also you get the choice of killing the Imperial or the Rebel corvette (you decide after you do the 4444 exit mission from Dantooine)

I was in the same boat as you. Imperial on the ground, went Smuggler's Alliance so I could be a spy and provide a different class of ship to my guild. I was quite disappointed to learn that I would HAVE to take out the Imperial Corvette. My guild is fairly known on my server, so finding Rebel assistance was going to be extremely difficult.
I decided to go for the Corvette rather than back out, figuring if I needed to switch professions, I'd rather have the xp bonus. Since I mastered, I've found that I don't need to switch and that I'm loving being a Master Pilot, despite the nerfs we seem to keep getting heaped on us.

U are master Pilot SA right ?
If u go into DEEP SPACE, you can attack REBEL IMPERIALS and neutral ?
My friend corsec said me that when u enter deep space he need to choose which faction be.
I would like kill everyone hehe
Which faction then ?
And if im in grp with imperial friend I have any problem in pvp ?
thanks

Since other people can see my reply...
I'm an Imperial on the ground but a Master SA pilot in space. I can only enter Deep Space as imperially aligned... I don't even have an option for Rebel. I think this is because of my ground affiliation, but I'm not sure.
Any non-imperial Smuggler's Ace masters out there that can enter Deep Space on the Rebel side?
Oh, and if I declare as an overt Imperial at a starbase, it says that I need to have 30k pilot prestige to enter Deep Space and that I should go work more for the Empire. As if 1.4 million pilot prestige wasn't enough....
