I was doing the same thing looking for the Imperial Corvette. Where did you find it spawning? I'll keep an eye out for the Rebel Corvette for ya.

Your best bet is the center, and keep tabbing, its a 3hr spawn, I tabbed it as far away as 5000. In chilastra during its final moments it spawns near the point were imperials enter kessel, hope that helps you.

Ok so if I need to destroy the Vette and another imperial needs to do the same will 2 spawn or will w ehave to take turns or can we both attack it and get credit?

Nope just 1 every 3 hrs, anyone who has the mission and is in near it or at least in the system when it goes down gets credit.

The way we been doing it lately when i go in to help, 2 guys kite fighter escorts, I go after the gunboats with spacebombs, and after that the vette is not really that hard. Target weapons first, they go down much quicker if you actually target the physical componenet on the ship, if you see a turret, Aim at the turret for for example. Then shields, then engine, reactor and bridge and you get your helment

Last night I was flying next to the Rebel Corvette and looked up and saw the Imperial one not so far away so it looks like they can get quite close sometimes.

does anyone have any tips on how to find the damn rebel corvette for the imp mission? i just spent 6 hours in kessel dodging little kids on daddy's computer so that i could do my mission and I did not see the rebel corvette spawn once. I saw the imperial one spawn about 8 times but no rebel vette.

any tips?

Is it possible for a master rifleman to solo the rebel corvette rescue mission?

Probably not. I went up as Master Rifleman / Master Smuggler (had Feign Death) and got my butt handed to me.

But it didnt help that I had -5000 Corsec standing either. Those guys are all over the place.
