Thread: do I *NEED* a JtL cd to make it work? Or just a key?

You will need to install the CD the first time from retail, However if you have more then 1 acct you dont need to reinstall it over again.. Just use the code

I've been real supportive of JTL but this just blows. I purposefully preordered so that I could have the game on launch day, and now EB hasn't even shipped it yet. We should be able to use our preorder key to activate it.

yea i feel the same way..i got jtl from ebgames as welll. they have yet to ship mine

Yeah, everyone EXCEPT the pre-order people get to play the game on launch day.. how nice.. lol..
So the ONLY benifit to pre-order is that pre-order disk, which I already have and already have credit for (got my speeder already) so I guess I should go tomorrow and pick up JTL at a store instead of waiting. Use the one EB sends for my alt, if it makes no difference..

I just picked up JTL from gamestop TODAY, which isn't even launch day...I didn't reserve it or preorder it either, just walked right in and bought it

Yep im in the same freakin boat. I preorder online and im not getting it till probably friday. I tried to change the shipping to next day air today but it was too late. They already shipped it. three days. So im gonna buy and additional game. Needed one for my alt anyways. Question can i use my sent key in my new copy of JTL? The one i preordered i mean. Im going to buya new copytommorow but want my flash speeder on my main account from the preorder.

PS they should make it where if you have a valid key from a preorder you can download it. SOE PUT IT UP FOR DOWNLOAD IF YOU HAVE A PREORDER KEY!

I doubt you're any worse off than the rest of us.
Since we in the UK aren't worthy of receiving the game in the same week as our North American friends I tapped up a North American friend to procure the game for me and yet he has been unable to find it... today, the day of release anywhere in San Francisco
