Everyone, as long as you have the proprer skill in the Neutral Pilot Tree.
You see, as a Rebel (or Imperial), you can pilot Neutral ship. Declared is the solution..

Aye, I'm hoping to get enough skills to fly an X-wing, and then some cool-lookin' Neutral ships. Mastering at least one, of course. Though I don't know if you can master both neutral piloting and factioned piloting.

Here's what Im gonna do with my best Imperial Buddy.
I'll go Master Imperial Pilot, he'll go Master Neutral Pilot (he likes Jabba a lot).
I'm gonna pilot all kinds of TIE but nothing in Neutral Ships.
He will be good with YT-3000 and Hutt Ships.
So when we'll paired up, he'll pilot the YT-3000, and I'll go in the turrets (don't need skills to control turrets lol).
You guys need to find good crews for your turrets!

Everyone wants to pilot a YT-3000, but you gotta remember that a YT-3000 is a lot more powerfull with gunners!

My guess is master any pilot can fly the YT-1300 but who knows. Remember that Han Solo joined the Rebellion, as did Lando. Both piloted the Falcon and fought the Empire.

Well, from what I've read so far at least, there's nothing precluding Imperial or Rebel characters from taking the "vanilla" pilot skills, and thus being able to pilot the 'neutral ships'.
It's only if you want to be a pilot of 'factioned' spacecraft that you're locked to a given faction.

The YT-1300 is supposed to be a freighter that look like the mellenium falcon. Is there any ship that looks like the mellenium falcon and is only for fighting. I didnt know mellenium falcon was a freighter.
