About a week ago I got a message saying that I qualified for a free gift. I was prompted to type /claimveteranreward. When done i was given another message saying that I copuld not recieve this item. I'm sure you all know that it was the suub. I did not have JTL at the time of the offer, soI guess thats why the no gift. Well I p[urchased the exp last night and tried the /claim and now nothing happens at all. I guess my problem is, Why offer a gift that you know the player wont be able to get or use. And now that I have the exp. , they wont give me the free ship.

yeah, your "FREE" reward, that you have to spend money to get.

SOE you should be ashamed of yourselves.
First you advertise a game to me every time i start SWG. So i pay to get your advert.
Then you dont do anything to make it availble to UK making the whole thing unfair in terms of progressions
Then you give us BOGUS FREE REWARD

LOL..that's why I refuse to buy the expansion..it's the ground based game in space...no content...just running the same style missions over and over...how long before everyone is tired of this? I'll give it a month and I think that's extra generous. That's also why I cancelled my account. IN nearly 2 years, they have yet to fix the basic problems with the ground based game and the Space exp. is more of the same....*sigh* Maybe one day SOE will buy a clue and fix the major components...I won't be back until then. The vaporware Combat upgrade that will probably be at least another full year away is another joke/ploy by SOE to "Hold" on to people. TH was hysterical when he stated "no other MMORPG has ever attempted this" referring to the COmbat upgrade....lol...DUH...the reason being is that they actually have a fully functional combat system when they launch the game...utterly sad and ludicrous...

I guess this has taken a wrong turn. I just want what was offered to me and not given. Read the org. post, Why shouldnt I be able to voice a complaint on this thread. Am I not in the right,do I not have the obligation tovoice this mistake ? Would you not also be upset if you were in my spot? Before you throw out your trife comments on whining and crying, think of what you might feel.

Well I know how I'd feel. I bought the expansion for just that, the expansion, not for the vet gift. Besides there were plenty of posts about it that you had to have an active account for at least 6 months, not counting the first month, which was free when you bought the orignal game. Personally I think that part sucks, but then again, I don't care when I get my reward.
But yes, it should be interesting to see how the reviews of the game are in say, 2 months. Either way I'm sticking around to find out & I'll be having fun while I'm at it too.

Here's my story. I went to a 12 point weaponsmith with some very nice speed and moderate damage krayt tissues to make me a jawa rifle. Well he sends me a tell stating that he got a bunch of moderate sucesses in a row and that my Jawa is not going to be much above one he would make with no enhancements. I'm a little suspicious since ive read that even the stadard tissues will give ya a lot better stats. I did'nt know this guy so I'm sure it prolly was a bad move,but i try to give everyone the benifit of the doubt. Can someone tell me if I've been duped or is this a normal happening?

Moderates are a pain and can seriously effect the quality
if you gave him base tissues (+30 -0.3) then its possible
however saying that if he isnt a force sensitive crafter he should have been using poly cake and port to prevent that.
There is always a chance he is ripping you off tho. Again I would need to know stats on tissues before I could make an educated guess

even with moderates the damage and speed should be better than a regular one.
being a 12 point smith I can't imagine having so many moderates to prevent maxing out damage, thats why everyone wants 12 point to prevent precisely this from happening.
I'd look at the condition too, if they had so many moderates to prevent maxing out the damage, then the condition will probably be low too, certainly alot lower than his regular ones.

Ok in the PM you said it was a crit fail.....was it crit fail or moderates.
crit fail is possible, i get one in a thousand roughly and im FS. But thats what poly cake is for. He should have eaten that
I would suggest you look at the gun if it wsa moderates like Ybagi said. If stats are identical to his normals ones in every way you probably have been ripped off.
If it was crit fail ask him why he didnt eat foods to prevent that

Pay attention to the minimum damage on the gun. Thats a clear indicator if you notice the min dam is higher then regular thats a good indicator he is telling the truth. Sometimes moderates do stuff like that. Just affect one part of the equation. In other words its not impossible.
The sad truth is though and I have heard about it alot more lately. Weaponsmiths are starting to steal these guns. The facts are you can take one of these guns and make millions of credits on the black market known as trade forum. A 12 point smith is no indication of a wealthy weaponsmith either.
I am not saying he robbed you persay, but its possible. Maybe a 50/50 possibility. No there isnt anything you can do about it either.
Number one rule and I told my clients this over and over and over again. Know your weaponsmith be pals with your weaponsmith. Try to use one weaponsmith excluseively. A weaponsmith you use routinely and do follow up business with is less likely to rob you. I think this is a major problem in the game. If two extra experimentation points is important enough to you. Then useing a weaponsmith you can trust is equally important. Infact a trusted weaponsmith is more important then 2 extra points.

REALLY do ask why he isnt eating foods. Check weapon stats and see...does sound dodgy
maybe hes just a bad weaponsmith :/
