I understand that the Gualama is a pretty nice pet to have. But since they changed so many aspects of CH I am wondering these three things:

1) What taming level do you need to tame a Gualama (the one with AC 1)

2) What level is the Gualama once it is full grown?

3) What is the HAM and damage of the full grown Gualama?

My character is 3 skilled: a ranged weapon (still not 100% sure on what I am going to stick with), Medic & CH. I don't mind having a little weiner pet to start with because you get so much more medic xp healing your own pet vs. sitting in a stupid Med Center.

Please don't post any website links, I am looking for accurate information so I know what pet to go tame once I can train CH later tonight.

Thank you in advance!

I have heard from several people that the Cu Pa is one of the better low level CH pets...but I dunno I personally am going to tame myself a Bantha, just because, well, I can

1) Anyone (even non-CH) can use one

2) lvl 11 or so cant remember exactly

3) 1100 HAM and 150 dmg , at least on my bio-engineered one

Nice low level pet for sure, but I would lean towards a bantha (2200 HAM 180dmg, still useable by anyone)

if you have any questions feel free to shoot me an in game email.

Gualama has Armor 1, so it effectively has the same HAM as the Bantha (soaks up the same amount of damage) yet is significantly easier to heal / regenerate...

Also runs faster.

Exactly and the other good point about the Gualama is that it can be Bio Engineered to increase these stats. So can the Batha I think but the Gualama is one of the first pets a BE can create so I believe it will be easier to craft and therefore cheaper.

To answer Mongoloid's question, Gualamas can be found on Naboo. They top out at 1100 HAM and I believe just over 100 damage. Also on Naboo and tameable at Novice is the Peko Peko, an impressive bird that fully grown has 2200 HAM and 150 or so damage. As someone already mentioned, the Gualama has Armor 1 so it will suffer less wear and tear. At 1540 HAM, my Peko Peko is currently rated as CL 7.

Was on a raid last night in Dathomir, night sisters cave, and I had the following short discussion.

Team Mate (TM): Duncaen are you a Squad Leader?

Duncaen (Du): Yes I am.

TM: Are you going to use those new abilities to control me?

Du: No mam!

TM:Hmmm. You sure?

Du: I would never do that to you. I am totally against it. It is just wrong!

TM: OK...

My TM has been on Dath raids with us before. She knows me, and she is one of the few skilled players in our PA right now. This could turn into a nightmare. No matter how many of us SLare displeased with the suggested changes, its got to be 100 time worse to be on the recieving end of the control stick!

Strangely enough, most of my teammates have said they like the new skills and a few of them have said they are thinking of going SL because of them. *shrug* I try to set them straight.

Well it sounds like a mixed response, which is better then I would have thought. If these "upgrades" do get implemented however, a couple of bad apples can really ruin ourprofession's reputation.

Same on my server. I don't know what is possessing them to do so. I try to convince everyone otherwise. Probably wrong, but why not save people the trouble?
