I found the pirates today... *cheer*.

They gave me a waypoint to the rancher... talked to the wife... told the pirates I wasn't letting them go via the intercom...

Then nothing happened... no troops came, no badge... just "Scram" from the intercom.

... and then my worst fears... the quest expired.

*cry*

Now Im looking for the pirates again.... Did I do something wrong or is this thing broken?

after i told them i wouldnt help the pirates out i walked upstairs and the rancher's wife said something. then about 30 seconds later the storm troopers came in and took them away. maybe you need to walk upstairs again. hope that helps.

yeh you need to talk to the wife straight after again and go through another conversation which im guessing you didnt do

Yep, you have to talk to the wife again after denying the pirates help over the intercom. And just so you don't get even more frustrated, don't do what I did the first time and choose the "I think you've done a great job decorating this house" converse option. Make sure you tell her the pirates are planning on breaking out as we speak. If you compliment her on her decorating, the pirates will break out, come up and kill the wife and you fail the quest.

Yep... that was the problem... I found the leader again... and failed because of the decorating conversation...

but the third try worked.
