i don't krayt hunt much,but i'm pretty sure they don't drop cyber-limbs.

They don't that i know of. To the OP. Cybernetic arms are taken off the same way they are put on, by going to the cybernetic specialist on the second floor of most major medical centers. The two ranged cyber arms are quest rewards. The +5 range arm is gotten by doing the hunting quests for rodian in the Bestine cantina, sorry can't remember his name, but he's the one with a cyber arm and cyber legs. The +10 is a reward from a quest inside the myydril caves on Kashyyyk.

Exactly right. I have them both which gives me a distance of 80m with my HLR. However, when Jedi hunting I would probably take them off. There Energy resist is very bad. For NPC marks they are good to have. You can Cover/Conceal Shot from 80m which gives you a few extra shots before being discovered.

The other way to get cyber arms is to go to dath and not register your clonedata. Find some rancors or night sisters,get yourselfkilled and when you clone you may be lucky enough to get a new cyber arm

My alt is a Bio Engineer this works well for her.

they are actually looted items. To aquire cybernetic arms you must form a group and go to the krayt dragon graveyard and search for a krayt dragon ancient (CL94). Once you kill it, hit the radial "loot all" and you just might be lucky enough to loot a cybernetic arm, plus you get a content badge.
