Sales? At least you don't have to use over a mil in resources just to grind Shipwright. Quite frankly...for the amount of $ us shipwrights have to put into grinding...we deserve the business!
I think you are missing my point. I have nothing against SW. I love JTL and I play it also, but this expasion is only helping that one profession only requesting that it could all other crafters well. yes you do deservce the business and i am not trying to take anything from ,but if the devs could add content for other crafters and just not SW that would be nices as well. Because they way the econemy is setup right now alot of people depending on all crafters to sell. Including me, i have 20 people counting on me to make sales, and they have people working for them. but if everyone single person is getting resoucs for sw and going sw or buying from sw then what about the rest of the game. I am sure the devs don't want to make this another Jedi professions where everyone is doing one thing. So to help the devs should put something in there for chefs, armorsmiths, and weaponsmiths.and BE's

You are spending all that money because you are trying to grind out shipwright at the same time as everyone else is and paying ridiculous prices for resources (typically over 1200% markup for grinding resources). I expect that the prices for those will go down too. Personally, I decided to buy all of the ore I needed for 6 million (ouch!). I had plenty of aluminum so I have put all of my harvesters on steel and polymer and I have gotten help from friends to use their lots for a few weeks too. I think that by the time I finish my last runs of armor and I am ready to give up armorsmith I should have enough materials to become a master shipwright.
If I just *had* to become a master today, I would expect to spend an enormous amount of money, though.

This is just because it is something new. People have been bored doing the same thing day after day and now they have something else to do. Soon people will get a little bored of going into space and the space expansion will be *part* of what people are doing instead of using up all of their time. I wouldn't worry about shipwrights either. Most people will either not be able to afford all of the materials or they will not have the patience to wait weeks to months to dig all of those resources up themselves. A lot of people will leave the profession too after the money begins to dry up. I expect in the end that shipwrights will be just slightly better off financially than architects (and this is only because ships decay so there is some repeat business).

yeah i understand what your saying ,but if JTL was a little more involved with the current game it would not be so bad.

It *would* have been nice if shipwrights had to depend on other professions like all other crafting professions do. As a tailor, I kind of hoped that they would make people have to wear flightsuits to pilot, but oh well. Its only a game.
