You know what doesnt make sense to me? Looking up into the sky on tatooine and seeing a couple of destroyers, but going up into tatooinespace, and seeing no destroyers at all. I think it would make more sense to see the SD's up there if you can see them up there on the ground. Maybe just stationary SD's, kinda like the NB frigate in endor space. But the frigate brings up sumthing else, y cant i see it in the sky when I look up on endor, lol.

Not to be a jerk...But if you search the forums, you will find your answer.
It's the old Database issue thing. To make the SDs in space...they are Really big....and really deadly.
They would take up more room then the devs have for the space sectors.

I'm more interested in why we can't see any suns, but maybe that's just me.

Why not put them in as "static" objects...like the planets are? Background Items or whatever.

If they were on the other side, we wouldn't have enough light to see the side we do.

Too big for what? The physical space sector or the database?
How much more could a couple of SD's impact the database? It's a registered NPC. All it needs is a number & coordinates.

I think the Star Destroyer should be something special for the Deep Space people, but I also think that the orbiting Star Destroyers should be visible. Just imposed against the planet itself or something, suggesting they're in low orbit.

if sd's that worked went in the space sectors there would be no re bpilots but i think over planets like tatoonie their should be a higher imperial presence since they practicaly run bestine.

The Empire does run Bestine. Which, coincidentally, is the capital of Tatooine. Heightened Imperial presence would be nice, yeah.

Jabba is the "Unofficial" ruler of Tatooine. The Empire only *THINKS* they have control there. Jabba just about has all the leaders on his payroll. Valarian has the rest.
I think that's a little silly, as the Empire could wipe Jabba from the face of the galaxy in an armed conflict. Might anger some other Hutts, but I don't know how powerful the rest of them are.
