Who's bright idea was to make surrending pilot skills different then everything else ? Why do you have to travel the galaxy to change pilot professions ??

My complaint is that no other profession has you do this there are many difficult professions. And I wasn't surrendering rebellion it was a freelance but regardless you have to surrender at Tat.

On that note another nice shove it up the rear from SOE .. you can not manage a ship you are not qualified for .. this means if you change careers your ships and the stuff in them are locked away for good, you cant repack them or extract anything from them in any way. Thank you SOE what a nice present.

THIS I agree on. A little forgetfulness can lock you out of your ship until you re-qual to fly that ship. They should allow you to remove components from the ship and redeed it when/if you go for another pilot profession.

Well, since you're a pilot there should be no difficulties for you to travel across space to Tatooine. And it actually takes less than five minutes if you're worried about wasting your time by playing this game that you have bought yourself.

I think it's fine you have to find an NPC and talk to them to drop your pilot skills. Piloting isn't a "normal" profession, it's completely different from all the others, both with skills, abilities and SP cost (which is zilcho).
I think it's much easier to go to an NPC and have them drop the whole profession at once rather then going skill-by-skill, clicking "surrender skill" then typing "yes" each time.
And besides, it takes less then five minutes to travel to the NPC. I've aced twice already, and I'm about to drop and ace again, so I should know. Stop complaining.

being a pilot should be hard as ...., this is a very dangerous galaxies and not that many group are going to be able to afford space, so it makes total sense that you have travel, plus the rebellion is spread out thin and should you should actually be transfered more. Stop complaining about the features that already are in, space is already to easy and safe.

Waste of a half hour.... ? What the hell are you smoking?

This is how long it takes me to go to tatooine from any place with a starport...

Find Starship Terminal- 20 seconds
Use Terminal to Travel to Tatooine- 20 seconds
Load Tatooine Map- 20 seconds
Find Trainer- 60 seconds

Shutting lazy asses up who don't know a thing of what they are talking about- priceless

I had this happen to me when I surrendered privateer to go Rebel. I filed a ticket and a CSR showed up and retrieved the items off my ship and dropped them in my inventory. You should give that a try. I still think you should be able to manage a ship you're not qualified for, if only for that exact purpose. But in case you do surrender the profession before unloading and re-deeding your ship, try getting a CSR to help.
