I agree it does make sense in the whole star wars elements. It is good to have it on 1 planet and espiecally on Tat since thats where most pilots will be when looking for jobs....

Pre-Cu veteran returning to the game he loves. SWG I thought NGE was a disaster but I think you might have something going for you. Give it time to develop.

Who's bright idea was to make surrending pilot skills different then everything else ? Why do you have to travel the galaxy to change pilot professions ??

I quite like the immersion, actually.

30 minutes? and i thought i had long load times. If you droped a skill and wanted to train another, you would STILL have to travel to a npc trainer someplace. That takes time too.

Perhaps the time it takes to travel to tatooine to quit your flight guild, was there so you DID have plenty of chances to remove all your ships components and deed it.

If you did have a instant surrender, there would be tons of players who had forgot to unload and redeed. Only because surrendering would be that easy and quick. What you SHOULD ask, is for the devs to place a "remember, once you quit the privateer guild you're in, you wont have any access to your current ships again..." line just before the guildmaster npc asks if you want to quit.

Actually, i dont know why you're so angered about this. It seems quite striaght forward and easy.
