Anybody else having problems? some of my guildies did not notice anything wrong. NPC's are warping around so bad "drunken bumble bee syndrone" I cannot hit anything.

I went up for a couple minutes last night and took out some T1s and T2s, didn't notice any problems. I did like the little boxes around untargeted objects in space.

I saw no problems either. It did seem to lag a little more, but nothing dramatic. Mostly from when things came into view since now everythingshows up inheadsup display. It looks nice, but performance is taking a hit.


Oh... and I saw asteroids I can trrget! I want my mining laser so I can blow them up!

You joystick drivers are causing NPC's to warp around? That's really really weird..

This was happening before the CU.... its called LAG.



If you LAG in space this will happen..............

Never mind, Its seems to be completly random now. I've been launching and landing over the last 1/2 hour to test things out, and sometimes it does it and sometimes it is fine. I figured it was the CU, or my joystick because I updated the drivers just the other day. I never had lag problems before the CU.

Yeah its rare that it happens in space but it happens. Its the most annoying thing too. Its happened only twice to me. Once a while back that I cant even remember why and the other was when Theed broke out with demostrations on Bria Galaxy. I couldnt hit a damn thing.


Oh the first time was a mission I was helping a guy with. I remember somewhat. Anyway I had left space for the day... next day it was gone.


Whats happening is your your computer response is not reaching the servers fast enough so there is a delay. Once you get the updated information it seems to fast forward. Then a delay happens again and it seems your hitting your targets momentarily then WHAM it happens again, updated information reaches your client computer from the server and everything warps again. Its lag. I am a network administrator and I know lag when i see it. Trust me on this one.

One thing i discovered last night, that may attrbiute to lage since the CU, is apparenlty the game's graphical options (at least on my machine) we're reset.

IE Vsync, texture map qualty, etc.

This is true, I did notice the game was clearer and more crisp in space. I didnt have lag issues but I thought that maybe they stepped up the video a bit. I will have to check my settings...
