Most weapon dealers aren't gonna supply you with krayt tissues unless you pay an arm and a leg.

I was lucky enuff to score some UBER krayt tissues immediately post-cu when krayts could be solo'd by a MBH. Now krayts are near impossible.

Look on the Bloodfin trade boards and see if you can't get some ball park range of 100 dmg tissues for a decent price. Take em to a smith and have him craft you a custom gun.

I'm lucky that I have my own personal smiths on my server. When they make a REALLY good gun they know I'm a good source of a payday so they give me a heads up on their latest creations.

Use the vendor search tab on the bazaar to search for weapons more in your combat level range. The vendor search will show you everything ona majority of the vendors in your galaxy, especially if you set the Vendor Search to galaxy-wide.

I have got my guy up to level 21 but when i look on the bazaar for weapons they all have some reason that i cant use them like you have to be level 54 or a bounty hunter or something. is there anyplace i can go to search for a weapon for my level. i am also novice rifleman too and i would like to use a rifle that can cause more than 50 damage.

I'm curious as to the best combo of weapons. I've been using a disruptor and ion in my dunelizard and it seems to work pretty good. Is there a benefit to using regular blasters and what's the difference, if any, between green and red? It seems that the ion/disruptor combo would be the best but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks.

When I was working up my first Pilot prof, I was using that Combo on the Dunelizard, and it was really good. At the time I couldn't really shoot two blasters simultaneously because of Capacitor issues. So I went sheilds first then armor. For the killing blow, I shot 'em both.

There's since been lots of discussion about the DPS on weapons, and the consensus is that a low Refire Rate will give you the best damage per second. If you're using Droid Commands, like WOL3 and Cap Overcharge, firing both guns together wont be an issue, so if you can get two weapons with a low refire, go crazy. My Quick-shot Blasters are always below .300.

Looted weapons will have a higher Refire than a Crafted gun, but a good RE job will usually compensate in other ways, like the super High damage or Effectivness.

The Blaster colour is nothing except a little continuity. In the Star Wars universe, Imperial ships traditionally fire Green Bolts and Rebels have Red.

Disruptor+Ion= good times =)

I use this same set-up myself depending on the mass I have available on the ship im using of course. On my Jedi Starfighter I used an RE'd Borstel Disruptor (Nym's Starmap quest) and alvl 5player made 1500hp .25 refire rate Ion cannon. The disruptor fires slow , like .39 refire, but does massive damage per hit (4k-ish) while the Ion fires super fast to knock out the shields. Works well for me. If I have room for a higher level Ion then I go with it. Same refire, just more damage per shot. Unfortunately, the disruptor is 25k mass, so on most ships, it doesn't leave you with many options.

and Hi Tokk, I've bought a whole heckuva lot of your stuff in the past on Naritus hehe...

im currently TKM/Pistoleer ... i recently found out that pistols didnt really mix so ill prbably be changing that however ive been told by lots of peopl that as TKM cl80 i am better off not using any weapon rather than getting something like the knucklers of katarn just wanted to kno whow true this was

This is not true.. at all... as a TKM your unarmed DPS (without weapon) with be 375 and arond 100 SAC..

with a weapon like the knucklers of katarnyou will have a DPSof around500 (unsliced) and a SAC of 75..personally i havea DPS of 555 and a SAC of 54 as i use SAC pups..

so in EVERY way using the knucklers of katarn will surpass unarmed in every way... butuntill you get th eknuckelrs of katarn, yes its better to go unarmed
