Your math is off. A Master Doctor can't even become a novice bounty hunter. Master Doc = 140 skillpoints.
That would be one hell of a combo tho, wouldn't it? Wow.
Master Doc plus 0-0-4-4 BH. Talk about an "I win" button ![]()

p.s. i tried to go carbineer to get the knockdown/dizzy bh carbines do, and the skills needed are broken. go figure
Well, first, if they're up your anus, they're not exactly eye shots are they? Hmm, I'd figure anus shots would be like a body shot and do health damage, but then the anus is pretty close to the legs so maybe it would do action damage... then again, getting shot in the anus certainly gives you something to think about, so I figure mind damage could make sense... And I'd imagine you'd be blinded with pain too... So yeah, let's rename eye shot to anus shot!
Anyway, back to your real issue (balance), balance does not mean everyone has the ability to stand up to everyone else on the battlefield. You're a master doctor, you can buff health and action to insane levels. The BH just happens to have an ability that targets your weakness, the mind pool. Master Doctors are not intended to go up against BH's any more than Master Architects are.
If you have doctor, go combat medic. CM's are quite the deadliest in the game thus far.

im a doctor/ riflemen and it works pretty well if you dont take into consideration all the problems riflemen are having. since i can buff myself, i put all my stat points into mind so when i go into battle youre looking at a tank with huge stats and alot of mind, but agian that is negated by rifleman problem so it balances its self out.
There in lies the reason why I have made a change of profession decision yesterday. Rifleman is so jacked up, it's not even funny. And not worth my time and effort to become strong in it. The breaking point was yesterday when I dueled a Master Marksman and I lost even tho I got 4 headshots on him with a decent damage laser rifle [35-400 or so]. Love that 75% reduction in PvP damage, thanks SOE!
So now I'm dropping personal combat all together and picking up CH some... I'll contribute alot more to big game hunts in having two strong pets and being able to stay close for Doctoring stuff. Hate to say it, but SOE has turned me into yet another cookie cutter character. I look forward to my next character, a BH/CH/Medic *rollseyes*
Im a Bio Engineer in addition to a doc. I actually got BE first, but that was mostly beacuse I got Org Chem before the other skills. Why a BE? Well, I get to do other things then healing, and the prospect of crafting animals sounded like fun to me. Besides it seemed like with so many CH in the game, the need for BE stuff was signifigant.
Down side is that I am bearly more then Novice in either of them, so Ill just have to see how it goes.
