The Yacht (Very Nice) Takes up a very needed space in data AS WELL as 1 house lot....
Simple awencer..If the Yacht is going to take a lot to have, let it not count as a ship in the Data Pad..
This will give you 3 ship choices for battle ( Light weight DogFighter, Heavy Armored multiplayer or single ship and Firespray or Med Weighted Fighter)

Well I agree maybe we should get more ships with more skills we get like CH gets pets? Just a thought.

I don't understand the "you only fly one ship at a time" mentality, I have my ships tweaked so close to the mass/reactor limits that misplacing a single component could make the ship unusable (over mass) or redlined. So I have my MP, light and heavy fighter all fully equipped as each takes a different range of mass and don't really have anything interchangeable. The yacht simply isn't worth the datapad space when I can have it used by a YT-1300 that I can actually do something in other than decorate.

each ship, as it has been posted above, has different components.
.
some of us have ground prof. that have terrible inventory problems, and pilot is a separate game - u need to buy it. So at least give us 4-5 ships in the data pad, or at least let us deed ships with components. I dont think this will be used as storage per say, because there are easier ways of storing components THAT U DONT NEED. merchants would not do this, and pilots wont WANT to do this. he will store only the components for that ship.
so PLEEEEEESE

I think the better route would be to balance all the vehicles out speeders spacecraft mounts. Allow a player a bare minimum of five transports. Would add a bit more depth to the game. That way players must choose the assortment that best fits them. Plus save some data space in game to reduce a marginal amount of lag.
If your a starship jockey then you can settle on all ships, while if your a ground dweller you can have all vehicles or mounts. Personally I think transport in the game is one of the least immersive. While in the movies it was far more entertaining. A faster starship should get you to point A faster then a slow one. Different starports should have different travel times, Speeders should be balanced. Faster really should mean easy to blow up slower means harder to blow up, and mounts should be the slowest but heavily armored and you should be allowed to use specials on them.
More stuff sounds good but sigh it makes things just a little too easy. Though I agree removeing components from a ship before deeding is tedious as all. Perhaps the devs could work on a more immersive system for this like allowing players to store all components in one container. I can see the logic though you do not want players tradeing fully decked out deeds. That might be a way around teir restrictions.
