Tradable yes... usable no. You have to complete the mission to be able to unpack and fly it. The reason it is certified to all pilots is so if you change factions you can still use your reward ship.

If you eject, I believe your ship will get more damage but you get less wounds on your body. You get chassis decay whenever your chassis is damaged and you repair it. You get 1 pointdecay in hitpoints per 10 points repaired. Deep Space, however, is basically a non-decay zone. When you leave Deep Space (either hyperspace out or get killed)all the damage on your ship, regardless where you took it, will be automatically repaired for free with no decay whatsover.

Just wondering, I've heard the first part with the AT-ST is bugged (and I've seen the dozens of chicken walkers standing around kashyyyk to believe it), so I'm wondering if there is a way around getting the thing stuck when you escort it? I've decided I don't want to get the damn drop on dath again, so I want to wait til I'm sure I can pass the stupid thing. Any help?

Went imp got given ship went reb, regrinding pilot.

Really annoyed that you have to do this to get it but meh with 6 ship slots thats all mine allocated now

Im Freelance(Smuggler) I have both the Jedi Fighter & ARC170..Make sure you Finish the Quest or you gota paper weight..


They are both great ships..I would give the edge to the JF

They should indeed, all the ships were supposed to be for all factions according to all the pre launch material. Quest to get it by all means but make it sellable/tradeable so anyone can unpack it.

this also allows it to be repurchased if it decays massively.

Actually its a perfectly logical design decision. You're allowed to fly it, there are just certain painful steps involved in earning it. It's like being certed to use Mandalorian armor, or RIS, just in this case there is a specific faction requirement involved. With the new philosophy of 'the war is heating up, pick a side' it is totally consistent and logical.

No, people made certain incorrect assumptions based on vague interview answers, seeing the pilot boxes during beta, and unmarked promotional screenshots. Yet again, the ships ARE for all factions, the quests are not. Simple.

Hmmm... gues that means efaun is my space pvp character now. *shrug* does not change anything for me but would be a pain for someone having rebel masterpilot which is kinda unfair...

If you want both heres what i did... Im Freelance(SA) Pilot - IMP(Ground)


As aIMP Faction(Ground)..I did the Jedi Fighter quest and FINISHED it..


I droped IMP and ran missions from a Rebel Term..Got 200FPs and joined REB Faction(Ground)


I ran the ARC170 Quest and FINISHED it..


I droped REB Faction and re-ran 200FPs for IMP Faction


I now have both Fighters and can fly both..


WARNING: Remember you loose all banked FPs & Rank when you drop a Faction and you must makeup any -NEG Faction you have..
