Thread: Friday feature?
That doesn't sound like "I will" to me...that sounds like "I'll try to". So lay off, cut the man some slack. We're all mortal, and sometimes deadlines just can't be met.

Sometimes the "Friday Feature" comes on Sat and even on Sunday. This weekend should NOT be focused on some write up (or lack of). It should be 100% focused on Garvin figting in the front lines.
Our community has been together, unified, disheartend, and blessed with the most passionate correspondants since day one! This weekend is the biggest thing since the FT actually working. F***K the Friday Feature....OUR future holds in the balance right now! OUR feature will be from Garvin!

besides, its not liek hes one week or now even 2 weeks late.... this is crap that was promised to the commandos in (and im not kidding) DECEMBER of last year! thats a long time to wait for an answer. not to mention that the profession has literally been broken since the games inception, and we always get the pushback in favor of various other professions.
im not really being spiteful towards TH, im just trying to promote a stronger sense of work ethic.

Thunderheart get's payed to appease the masses! He get's payed as a front for SOE and the most critical community members. Custmer relationship is not about the customer...it's about potential customers. He's a puppet trying to be a "real boy" without strings...but management gives him the ok on posts.
Get used to reading into SOE and promises. You will then understand that TH isn't the one who makes the finantial descisions...he's the messanger. I was VERY close to his spot once...but I had a fall back plan and my passion was not for money. It was for the player. The Gamer. Better think again if you believe ole Braven can be baught...I can site some great Gamers who will attest to that. Was my descision to say, "F***K you. I say what I feel and share that with everyone. No one tells me what to say if I stay within the legal parameters.", a bad one? Maybe.
I don't miss the cutthroat business, I do miss helping us. That's not here nore there right now. All I'm saying is that TH is in a hard spot.
If he gets lied to, WE get lied to. Get used to the money aspect of the Gaming world! As I said, our hopes right now are NOT focused on some stupid "Friday Feature", Our hopes are in Garvins hands.
Cross yer fingures Commandos! Prey, Hope, sacrafice a goat, or anything that Garvin presents good news! He will.
