Thread: Simple Question

I was directed here by a fellow Jedi after I had inquired about visibility. He told me that there was a great thread that explained visibility in full. However, after searching, checking the stickied threads at the top, and looking back 3 pages, I have not found this mentioned thread. Therefore, I am now hoping to accomplish one of two things with this thread:to be given the location of the thread I was directed to, or to have my following questions answered.

If I cannot find the thread I was directed to, I would like these questions answered:

What is the range in which a Jedi may obtain visibility?

How long does it take to get said visibility? I ask this because I have been told it is instant and that it takes 20s to incure visibility, I wish to know which of the two is correct.

Do grouped or same faction NPCs generate less visibility than enemy faction NPCs?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

(Oh, and let this serve to the other players that at least some of the Jedi can still use proper English and are intelligent. We are not all whiners.)

1) 32m

2) I've always thought of it as instant. Best to err on the side of caution.

3) Yes. Neutral NPC's have a vis modifier of 1, like factioned individuals 0.5, opposite faction 2.

Do you need to be an Imperial Pilot Ace to pilot an Imperial Decimator or just need to be an Ace to call one out in space? I only ask for roleplay reasons would I need to be the one piloting the ship or can I just have someone else do it for me?

I've never been a jedi, i'm just curious do the Jedi Guardian and Jedi Master boxes have there own tree with 4 rows of skill boxes? Or are they just titles? Haven't been playing that long so I don't know much.

force rankings are not new trees like most other professions. each rank you gain just makes you more efficient at your current moves.

Going up in any healing branch would improve healing, Tier4 skills are better then Tier1, for specials boost you need to go into an Elite profession following the skill requirements

Interesting, I only notice a difference in healing power when going up the medical support tree. The ranged healing tree does 'boost' your healing by giving you two new heals at tiers 2 and 4, but that's not so with the medical augmentation tree. So, simplifying my question: does the augmentation efficiency mod (or a hidden mod in the medical augmentation tree) effect healing power?
