Ok, I did a search, but I didn't find anything solid. What I'm trying to find out is if killing NPCs using normal combat (VK/gaffi/etc) and no force powers will cause a gain in visibility. I remember reading in the patch notes (at least I think that was it) that killing NPCs (separate mention from using powers in front of NPCs) would cause increased visibility.

Basically, I'd like a somewhat secure answer on whether or not putting on the old armor and using fencer to kill jantas for some new crystals will land me on the terminals or not...

Yes, it would certainly help if they would even give a readout of visibility for a couple days to find this crap out once and for all...

No using non force powers and non jedi skills will not gain visibility.

Some people claim otherwise but it simply isnt true.

I went and cleared a cave full of NPC's on endor using TKA and was not on terminals afterwards

if its in your reticle you can use "x", targets ship in reticle. You might want to kill all the ships flying around first, they will still fire at you and do damage while you are docked.

About as much as was done to help our profession between launch and the introduction of the Theater Manager quest. I think you need to wait a few months before you can start expecting anything new.
