Ok this is a stupid question and the answer probably could be found somewhere.. but if you are group with other players and are out killing stuff.. does that put you on the terminals.. I think it does... but i figured i would ask.. I think its kinda dumb if that is true.. Because that means to have a jedi and to play with it.. you have to stop playing with your friends(what ones actually play this anymore). thank you for any answers on this..

Yes it will, 100% guaranteed...
as long as you want to safely level your jedi, say goodbye to your friends for a long long time.

At the various tiers, you can get open ended escort missions that pay you for each transport that successfully makes it to its jump. So, theoretically, some of these missions have an infinite pay out if you are willing to play long enough. Of course, what usually happens is that the transport takes too long to get where it is going, and by the time that one leaves, you need to quit playing. However, I had a mission at tier one that I played for about 1.5 hours, and it proved to be exceptionally lucrative as I was rewarded after each jump. I was also fortunate that additional enemies that just happened to be in the area didn't overwhelm the transport.

I got a chassis from a shop. What do I do to make it into a ship? Do I need to buy other parts?

If it's the actual chassis right click and generate a ship.. then go to the terminal and you can access it.

How do I turn this chassis blueprint into a ship?
You must talk to a Chassis Broker (an npc often found in starports) and pay him to turn your blueprint into a ship in your datapad. This will cost 25k per tier (so 25k at tier 0, 50k at tier 1 etc)
