Not that I would pilot anything other than a good ol fashioned TIE-interceptor but because I think it is stupid that only an old out-dated *BAD* ship the YT-1300 is the only one included at launch.

The reason they're putting the YT-1300 in is cuz its 'popular' i'd think, lol.

There was a focus group recruiter at the FanFest. It was her job to pull in people to test the game while there. Apparently, and I caution this because of the NDA, there is a schematic for the YT-2400. Now I wont give out the name and all, but the source is probably very reliable.

I don't like YT-1300's. They're outdated, unshielded, have lousy engines, don't have a sensor dish, have no missiles, have only one turret (if any, depending on which shipyard you buy it at) ...
They're crap!
But then, SOE is making them ... less crappy. More normal... or rather, more Millenium Falcon-y.
YT-2000's and YT-2400'sare awesome!

Great idea, and I completely agree with the previous posters. Han Solo clones flying around would *not* be cool, whereas on the other hand having more than one group transport, especially ones that lookunique, fresh, and new is very appealing. Han Solo is located on Lok during Star Wars Galaxies. The last thing we need is a bunch of Rebels, let alone Imperials flying around thinking they're Han Solo. Even for role players this is a pretty poor vehicle to have in the game. Devs, please take this into consideration.
The community at large concurs that this would be a wonderful implementation.
Additionally, this would remove the necessity of having more than one group transport vehicle. You could have this vehicle, and only this vehicle instead of having to implement Imperial and Rebel vehicles in the future as well.
