As its already being said, i think it was the chief designer who said they were trying to add a second multiperson ship before it launches, who knows?
but why do u only want corelliam multiperson ships? surely there are many many others, as long as it isn't a faction based one, the others would howl, unless they added one for each faction

I think the issue is that it would take less work to adapt one of the other Corellian models. Simple adjustment of the wireframe structure and modeling, then interior and exterior artwork. The spatial mechanics would be the same as the YT-1300.
Personally, my choice is based on simplicity and the desire to have more than just the 'Falcon' flying all over space. Plus I am not terribly familiar with the other types of shps out there.

The schematic is already in the game. Not that anybody will pay attention to this because frankly the masses dont read in detail, only big, bold words.

Can you point out this fine print, or is it still in the rumour and hearsay category?
I hate to get my hopes up, but I *do* want a larger variety of freighters
