I don't think it is true, i think the rumor stems from the night where servers were down from pub 17, tiggs was in general chat. and someone supposedly asked about the jedi population, and she said "a system to control the jedi population is in the works."

I just wish we knew what was in the minds of the swg team for the new frs. We as a community are guilty of asking for jedi population control and it seems to me that they are going to give us what those of with jedi don't want. I did see garva's post but this is a game and something two days ago could have been "no perma death" Sadly the coin could always flip to the otherside.

They already have a system for controlling the jedi population,hordes of respec BH with ranged damage the makes lightsaber damage seem laughable, lightsaber resistant armor, "elemental" damage ? I'm about to hang up my robes and saber, Jedi as a profession is a joke... Master Lightsaber was once respected now it's just laughed at...

It's not coming back, period.... End of damn discussion. I dont get how some ask about or want to have permadeath. Listen, I had to deal with permadeath when I first got my jedi, Its not fun.. Months of grinding went down the tubes beacause of it. Thank god it was removed. Garva even said its not coming back.
