"Alright people, today's objective is to come up with some incredibly un-Star Warsy things for the game. When we eventually release the GCW balance, there's gonna be a lot of authenticity we'll need to counteract, and I think we should start now. We wouldn't want this game to be too much like Star Wars, would we?
"Here's an idea I was tossing around: Completely un-Star Wars related emotes. I think it's perfect! I'll give you some examples... how about an air guitar emote? We all know that the chances of air guitars existing in the Star Wars universe are slim to none, but that's what makes it so brilliant! Also, we should have a 'Loser' emote where they actually use the 'L' sign up against their forehead. That's a really good one, since, even if they used the first letter of the word up to their head to signify the word 'Loser' in their galaxy, which is a long shot obviously, they would probably use the Aurebesh character for it. They would use their left index finger and thumb, and the thumb would be at a 45 degree angle. If I catch anyone trying to do it that way, they're fired!"
...I can't believe someone actually responded to this thread with the words, "Keep up the great work." It blows my mind. People are actually falling for it. I didn't read the whole thread, but I did notice at least one person saw the truth. Thank the Maker.
You throw this garbage at us and we're supposed to be impressed? You didn't even include the "Move along" emote we've been asking for! I simply do not understand how you people think, nor how you can tell people you make a Star Wars game. I suggest you start making a stronger case for me to keep my subscription. JtL alone sure as hell isn't going to do it. Fix the ground before you move into space. If you do notlike the way I represented you in my little story up above, then prove me wrong. I bought this game for Star Wars, not for air guitars.

Not to sound too negative, cause I'm sure the emotes are ....nice...but, Will they help me in battle? increase my Force sensitivity? make me a better PvP'er?
Add CONTENT? promote the GCW? do they effect combat balance in any way? If the answer is No to those questions ...then WHY ARE YOU THE DEVELOPERS spending time on it? I still have fun playing...and things seem to be improving...a little, but the process is sooooo looooong
Seems to be a marked lack of interest, maybe outright refusal, on your part to address LONG TIME issues with this game. Come on Guys...i've been faithful, kept my subscription We've had Galactic home shows...tutorials on how to use the match-making system....and , God Help us, An Image Designer Revamp. I'm starting to wonder about your guys masculinity, I'm sorry....but my "greatest story ever told", as advertised on the box, didn't include getting my nails done, a mud bath and a perm.

Just for the record we were stating our opinion in which we are entitled..what?? do you think by typing "great job devs" your gonna get a free company car? the devs could care less what you think as long as they get paid I thought they had made that clear by now? hmm...lets use and example you go to the dealer to buy a new car..it has no doors,no engine and no wheels..but the dealer offers to throw in a leather seats and tinted windows..this is the same situation. MAKES NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL!!
maybe I will quit hmm or maybe SOE can send me back the 50 dollars plus the 195 dollars I've lost in sub fees or no wait maybe you can send me back my money..not willing to do that?? nor is SOE so in that case I'll stick around.
no offense intended just tired of people sayin "all the complainers can leave" unless your willing to return in our funds keep your mouths shut..we pay the same as you.
Just think of it this way if no one complains NOTHING gets fixed so all you smugglers remain broken and alot of your professions remain pointless because of guys like SicariusD here.
