I haven't been playing for a while (well very little, anyway). And I wanted to check in and see if there were any changes to how armor is repaired.
Any bonuses out there, or does anyone have just as good luck or bad luck as anyone else.
Thanks

I recently reached 4 in BH carbines and then went up to get crippling shot in the Carbineer tree, and I was wondering if there would be any advantage to getting the rest of the carbineer boxes? I have a 182/352 3.3 DX carbine and I do a good 1300-2000 dmg with crippling shot at what seems to be near cap and I feel quite powerful already. Is there a dmg bonus or any reason to go up to Master Carbineer?
Honestly, it wouldn't be that much work to get the rest of the boxes, but if I could just convert that xp into FS xp, it'd save me a day of work.

For grinding FS XP, the Cone Effect Specials are KING.....so XX33 is needed for that to work.
I can easily get 600k or more Carbine XP per hour on random lairs with a tank and BurstShot2/FullAutoArea2.

Thanks for the info. I already have the first speed box, forgot to mention that so I guess I am already speed capped so I figure I'll get Burst Shot 2 because even with Action Shot 2 I was wreaking some havok on groups.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Actually, you won't kill your targets faster with burstshot2 than with actionshot2... burstshot does exactly twice as much damage, but since it's random pool damage and the damage is spread in the 3/2/1 ratio, actionshot2, being action-targetting cone special, kills targets exactly as fast as burstshot2.

If you only care about single target damage, add in carbineer 1xxx for speedcappig and that should be enough... but you'll miss the great area attacks (fullautoarea2, chargeshot2, burstshot2) and scattershot2 this way, which are really the most fun shots to use.
Oh, if you pvp you should definitely get the fourth marksmanship box for the huge accuracy bonus.

The cap on combat exp is 300k and for your TKM (unarmed exp) is 900k. Have fun with the grind

I read in teh FAQ that you can sample a pet you've made to make another "Generation". To do this, must a MCH call teh pet and then you sample it? Or do you have to be a MCH then sample you're own pet? Or must you Duel someone so you can sample theirs? How does this work?
thank you for your time, I apologize if I missed this in a different post.

You actually don't sample from pets...but from the pet deed in your inventory.
Just go to your inventory and bring up the radial menu on the deed and you will see a sampling option. Just like in the wild, you will only get so many samples before the deed disappears/dies.

no, the only time you can sample a pet is when it is in deed form. Once the pet is called, and it is no longer a deed, it can no longer be sampled.
