Speaking on experience and personal preference to all those Rebel Pilots out there, i've decided two of the ships I'm getting, Nova Courier and Z-95, but i keep flip flopping like John Kerry on the third. I'm debating whether I should get a Y Wing, a Y wing LongProbe, or an A Wing. Any recommendations?
Well, what I keep in mind, is the weight and mass of the craft.. The Y-wing has less mass than the LongProbe.. However, the A-wing has even less mass, and less weight. Both Y-wings are harder to turn, just because, they are Y-Wings. A-Wing is more manuverable.

I'm not sure... I thought I read on the EBgames and GameStop websites that open beta will start Oct. 22nd.. I don't know if that's changed though.

There are repair kits for each of the ship components and also a plasma leak repair kit. Normally if your ship gets damaged you either have to fly to a space station or land and repair the parts. Multiplayer ships can be repaired on the fly by accessing the various components inside the ship and using a repair kit. To offset this advantage, multiplayer ships develop plasma leaks after a certain amount of damage that can set you on fire. The plasma conduits can also be repaired in space via repair kit. The way it works is component access pannels are spread throughout the ships interior. So you have to run around to fix stuff.
sweet just like han and chewie in the movies.

So can these flames Kill/incap you? and are the repair kits player crafted?

1) Do multi-person ships require lots? And does ownership of a space ship require lots?
** Multi person ships only require lots if you have more than 1 of the multi person ships in your datapad furnished.
2) What did you prefer playing, Rebel, Imperial or Pirate and which do you think have the best ships?
**I've been playing as a freelance pilot and I've really had a ton of fun. It all depends on your personal preference.
3) How many ships can you own at once?
**Currently you can have 3 ships max in your datapad. But you can redeed ships from your datapad, as long as you take out the components first.
4) Is Black Sun a faction you can work for?
**No.
5) What ships were not announced?
**The only ships that havn't been announced are: (I'm not sure, but this is a guess I don't feel like checking the ship picture page)
Black Sun Kihrax (Tier 2)
Black Sun Ixiyen (Tier 3)
Black Sun Rihkzyrk (Tier 4)
Rebel Nova Courier
Imperial Decimator
KSE Firespray
6) How do you communicate to other ships while piloting?
**Currently the only way to communicate with other ships is through group chat or guild chat. You can use spacial, but that of course is limited because of distance.
7) Overall are you impressed or dissappointed with JTL?
**I love it. =) The devs have done an awesome job.

1a) Yes
1b) I think Yes
2) I liked Rebel.. but of course i'm rebel on live ![]()
3)I think either 2 or 3
4) i'm not sure, but I think there are a few
5)Well, referring to the JTL page... I can only give u the rebel and imperial because I didn't really look at the pirateer much, maybe someone else could answer that..Two passenger ships: Y-Wing and (is it the Oppessor?).... Multi-passenger ships: Nova (Rebel), Decimator (Imperial) (yes that screen shot that TH gave you with the Sullustan on the ship.. is the Decimator)....and the Firespray.
6) Communication.... is typing... I wish it wasn't.. I hoped for some sort of Voice chat ONLY in your group... But no.. A little hard to do..
7) It's an impressive game! I like it, I just didn't like the typing for communication. Did Han type to Luke while in the turrets?... No....

Yep, you can have up to two furnished mp ships, but they cost one lot each. I am still waiting to here what they are gonna do, if anything for PA hall owners with only one lot left.
2) What did you prefer playing, Rebel, Imperial or Pirate and which do you think have the best ships?
I liked the rebel ships better as I was more familiar with them, but some of the neutral ships are kinda unique and fun. Didn't try Imperial, but the decimator and the oppressor look awesome.
3) How many ships can you own at once? 2 or 3 I forget sorry :/
4) Is Black Sun a faction you can work for? You can work for the Smuggler's Alliance (Smuggler is not a prereq), RSF Security or Corsec.
5) What ships were not announced? Firespray (Slave I model) is the only one I can think of that made a brief appearance on the Lucas Arts page and was removed.
6) How do you communicate to other ships while piloting? Voice (Ventrillo or Teamspeak is the best way as chatting will get you killed quicklyYou can still send tells, or use other forms of chats though if you are extremely agile with your hands.
7) Overall are you impressed or dissappointed with JTL? To start was impressed, then it went way down hill (typical beta), now I am having a blast and looking forward to release.
