just did all the tier one stuff...now looking at my first box of tier two...60k? whaaaaa? and im getting like 100 off each ship doing "duty"....is there a better way...i mean i'm grinding fsxp on two chars also...

poke around various systems...Lok and corellia work alright, as well as Tat, for your purposes. Avoid Endor and Dath like the plague until you're tier 3, then when you get to tier 4, just go to kessel.

So me and a friend go to Endor because he's telling me about this Gorax that is huge and that he would like to take on. BTW, I'm TKM (and other misc). We find one....and he is tough. We end up quitting since we were gettting no where fast.

As I'm driving around, I find this Stoneface Bataka (or something like that) with 96K HAM and 90% resists to kinetic. I decide, what the heck, and start fighting him. 10 minuted later, and he having lost about 35K in HAM, my friend tells me that there is a max XP you can get per creature, something around 5000.

When he said this, I jumped on my swoop and left. Can this be true?

Please say it ain't so. Seems like you should get rewarded for taking on a difficult adversary.

he tells no lie. i think the max xp per creature is 5100. i have had up to this amount but never more. you also get 1/10 th of this amount in combat xp.

Capping xp is probably a good thing. It prevents camping and xp farming.

Yes, I have always thought it was just not right that I get more XP from killing a Huurton Stalker (which I can spin attack and kill 6 in about 15 seconds) than I do from killing a Nightsister Protector/Speelweaver solo (never solo'd elder). Just doesn't make sense especially when I kill two spellweavers at one time solo and get 4.8 xp per kill and no loot (sorry different subject).

Not when you spend a half of an hour fighting, and get no loot, and only receive 5100 unarmed combat xp. That doesn't seem quite right.

If I kill a baby biz natch, they give me less xp in comparison to the grown up biz natch. That makes sense since the babies are smaller and die easier. How can a biz natch, however,be equivalent to something that takes 100 times as long to kill and hits a lot harder? From a common sense standpoint, they can't be equal, and thats why I was taking on the stone monster in the first place.

I can't get any xp in space from tier 5-tier1. Some one said something about a cap at 2.5 mil. but i am no where near that for xp. Can anyone else have this problem? I sent a ticket to soe and no response.
