It helps to:

a) be in a salon

b) have a friend to id on

This decreases your time spent and increases your exp. Also, once you hit novice make your character searchable and switch to that title. If you don't have a friend to grind on, this should get you more requests to id.

you can do the 'theed-grind' and kill 10000 chubas outside the city, or find a player city that gives you missions close to the terminal... pick two misisons close together and go to the closest mission. kill all the spawn, tap the lair, move on to next mission. Do the same thing at the 2nd mission point, then head back to the first. Wash, rinse, repeat. you'll get the max amount of mobs this way. i use a swamp tusk cat, it's fast and is not too high of a lvl that it will still get xp for taking out the mobs.

remember, to get the ch xp, you only need to do a small % of the damage with your pet. so send him in for the attack, then blast or whack away or whatever u do to kill things.

If you are looking for combat XP, then I personally prefer savage quenkers. Easy to kill and 5k XP a piece. But the missions are getting hard to find now.

You can get good xp if you are a tkm or probably an melee by getting in a solo group and then going to dathomir and getting giant baz nitch missions. They are the ones that are 11k. Usually you get about 15 - 20 nitches per mission if you are smart about it. That results in about 70 to 100k unarmed(for tkm)xp. You can max out your xp in about 1.5 to 2 hours. Thats the fastest way I have seen. Some people say throw grenades but I dont really see a big increase in xp or the time it takes. Plus its uber expensive and with solo groups becoming a thing of the past its going to be pretty hard to make money if you are just combat.l

I'm a rebel 4433 (about 12k away from 4443). Doing the Black Sun missions from y Tir4 trainer is pretty easy. I get plenty of xp 3.2k per kill. I have access to an A-Wing but I find my X-Wing works best. I use two weapons to keep my reactor drain down and the best reactor I can. I've gone with good shields and low mass armor. Takes me about 90 minutes to get 500k of xp, right now. Just do the missions where you take out wave after wave of ships. Be sure to manager your ship when you land and see if the loot you get beats the stuff your using. My best items have been loot and they dwarf the stuff my Master Shipwright can make.

Privateers do not have it that easy.

No black sun ship has a REAR turret.

But the TIE Aggressor does, and it eats through shields like butter.

O there should be a higher conversion rate for sure, considering how easy it is to get space XP, I would expect that much at least, but the amount of prestige i have is soo stupid i would like to be able to put it toward good use. If they only allowed you to use space XP once for every branch i would be fine with that as long as it goes somewhere instead of building up. A 300:1 sounds good to me, or even a higher ratio would be fine with me. All i am asking is I would like the new pilot proffesion to have some impact on perhaps becoming a jedi, if they revamped it to where there was a branch in reflexes for starship along with vehicle that would be cool or somthing, but i think you get my drift.

I am just soo dumbfounded how long it is taking to convert this XP I am finally on my second branch but it is going slower then i'll get out
