What's amazingly ironic, mr_willie, is that your post is an exact duplicate of Dev-team file also labeled "Droids". This file is normally kept under heavy guard at the SOE Death Star.

Many Bothans died for this information.

assuming you mean Arakyd Probe Droids and Seeker Droids. I'll say, open your planetary map, and click vendors - droids, usually DE's will place named vendors on the planetary map so BH's know where to go to stock up. If not, hop on your mount or vehicle and try them all

They took out the droid terminals along time ago. You need to find a droid engineer to make them for you.

Erm... Telling us what server you're on might be a start. I know a decent droid shop on Corellia on Chimaera, but that isn't necessarily going to mean diddly to you.

Just a Quickie... do droids maximise teh healing u do? i.e. will u get more consistent heals with a surgical droid out than without it?

Not consistency, no. The variability will remain the same.

What a droid (presumably with a med module, of course) does for you is allow you to heal anywhere as if you were in a building. The med module rating will affect how well you heal to some extent, nad you'll want a level 6 module if you can afford it, which should provide a 110 rating, meaning you'll get an extra 10% boost to yoru healing ability over what you would have gotten in a Med Center. So in that respect it does give you a higher average heal, but the variability of the healswill remain unchanged. (The reason for that is to ensure a usefulness to the higher level heal packs, since only the higher level packs will provide more of a guarantee that even with a minimal heal they will still provide a large enough heal depending on the buff levels in play and/or the situation involved.)

Droid may also have a Food & Chem Crafting Station module, which acts like a very high-end Personal Crafting Station, apparently. (My droid's crafter always works better than my +44% personal station in my house, and many others have noticed the same situation.)

Those are the two primary modules of interest to medics that you will find in droids. (The "shell" makes no difference, however. Meaning you don't need a "Surgical Droid", you just need to get any droid you like with those two modules installed in it. Surgical Droids may have other functionality given to them at a later time, however.)
