I don't hate anyone. I particularly do not hate the hologrinders. I feel for them. I think it is horrid that SOE is making people play professions they do not like for hours or days on end just for the dubious privelege of being a Jedi Knight.
The whole FSCS/Jedi business in this game was poorly thought out and implemented from top to bottom. In this time period, there should be no other Jedi surfacing in the galaxy (yes I know according to EU they are in hiding around various places, a few of them, scattered and leaderless, but these are Yoda-like, and hidden -- no Jedi should be openly showing himself during this time period). The PROPER thing to do in this time period would have been to not allow Jedi at all.
Then of course you have the argument, "But this is Star Wars. Everyone wants to play a Jedi." No argument there but this is not the proper time period for it. They had 25,000 other years to choose from before this time period, and the Force knows how many years post-ROTJ, that they could've picked to do this, any of which would have been acceptable at having tons of Jedi running around, and in that case they could've just let everyone who wanted a Jedi be one, and end of story.
But no, they had to pick the time period when there really couldn't be Jedi, and then say, "Well you can have one if..." and make the "if" part be stupid, grindy, annoying, and require people to do all sorts of silly things that weren't fun just to be able to play it. The designers of this system are just ASKING for it. And they got exactly what they deserve. And frankly, I blame LucasArts for this. They chose to license this time period to SOE, and it was a stupid and short-sighted idea. SOE is just having to live with the foolhardy time period LucasArts chose to license them.
What they should have done was licensed the Knights of the Old Republic time period to SOE, and let us all play in the time of the second Sith War. Instead of Imperials vs. Rebels you could have Sith vs. Republic, and anyone who wants a Jedi could (presumably after completing various trials and requirements that actually make sense in that context) have one.
But NoooOOOOooo... they had to do it this way. So the hologrinders (whatever prof. they are grinding) are just doing what they have to do to get Jedi the only way they can in this time period. I do not blame them. I blame LucasArts, and whoever's stupid idea it was to do it this way.

Thanks for the one stars communists!
Well, I rated your original post higher than that because you raise a good point about people being defensive about any hologrinder. I cannot say that everyone here was 100% fair to everyone who comes to visit.
But this post I had to one-star. It is unnecessary and confrontational. Perhaps you can answer your original question if you figure out why you are being so hostile yourself.
Besides, someone will always give you a one star. There are one-star bandits out there. They love nothing better to do than to go downgrade messages. And what was rated as one star during one time may be rated differently hours later. The solution: Take a chill pill.

Heheheh.
I don't even have the star rating system turned on and I never bother to rate posts or pay attention to ratings. I have no knowledge of whether I've ever been one-starred or not. Who cares? Just post what you want to say and don't worry about it.

i think that every player should be completly recorded with what professions they have mastered. The higher the number, the closer you should be to jedi.

actually it is stated.. go to ctrl s, your skill/profession screen. On the left side there are 2 scroll boxes, 1 for all the experience you have, and one for your current skill stats and mods. In the second one, you can find max level of pet stat which tells you what cl you can tame/control.

I am a master Doc and was a master Rifleman until recently. I will always keep doc, but wanted to switch from Rifle because everyone and their brother is going rifle nowadays. Dont get me wrong, I loved Rifle and I loved my T21 with it's heavy armor peirce.
My Question is: Now that I'v egone from Rifle to Carbine, where is our Heavy Armor Peirce weapon? I am trying to kill the same creatures with my laser carbine ow and am getting pwned! I WANT A HEAVY ARMOR PEIRCING CARBINE! Oh, yeah give me a master carbine special too (like strafe 2 for rifle).
