Thanks I had a feeling they changed that...And my alt character is on the same server as my main so being with my friends isn't a problem - plus I have a few rare pets that I would hate to give up took to long to get them.
Just in case you didn't know, if you drop CH, all your pets will stay in your datapad, you just can't get anymore because your pad will be "over full". So it is possible to save em for later. But I understand you wanting to use the alt if its on the same server. Good luck with your holos!

I've been playing with the BE class for about a week now. Only this past weekend did I start getting samples from some decent creatures, and had a chance to make a few cool pets. In my time doing this I've reached 0-0-4-2, and have a few questions:
- Is it true that the Cloning line of the BE tree only gives usmore skins to use? There are no skill mods or additional abilities given?
- Is there any clothing item that can be worn to improve our experimentation? I have seen mention of the crafter's apron, but never any verification that it helps us.
- Do the skins at Clone Engineering I have any limitations compared to those of Clone Engineering IV? In other words, can I hit 0-0-4-4 and make a gnort with the same stats as a kimo if I were at 4-0-4-4?
Thanks in advance!

True, Cloning gives more Skins.
No items for BE's this is a request to Devs to be competitive w/ other crafting professions.
there are some SKIN limitations on the CL I believe the lowest CL a rancor skin is 30 but you could make it with any DNA. Razor Cat min CL is 10. You could create a CL 60 Gnort if you place the right DNA.
hope that helps

Howdy all,
I'm a BH and really excited about being able to get into carbs. Had a few questions though that the faq didn't quite anwser.
1 Was looking yesterday for a good carb. Saw no elite carbines ... is the weapon gimped ? or are other carbs better ?
2 Are the HAM cost bearable when Doc buffed ? or will I need further food to "stay alive" while using carbs?
3 Is there a particular why I should go up the skill tree thats better than others ?
Thankyou for your time

When doctor buffed, everybody can do everything, including carbineers spamming all attacks. That aside, I would recommend reading the FAQ which is STICKIED on the top of the forum. There is lots of good information there, including answers to your questions.
I wonder if we should create a "BH FAQ", either adding it to the FAQ or as a separate STICKY...
9,644 more to go...

Strange, since you are already 3444 BH that you have never used a Carbine.....
1. Most of us custom order all our Carbines....see Carbine Weapon Info thread for weapon details.
2. As with every other profession Mind needs buffed too.
3. FAQ and Specials STICKY gives all the details you need.

I think that should be left for the BH boards, but if we add anything to the FAQ concerning the Carb/BH hybrid, I think it should be centered on Master Carbineer dabbling into BH and not BH dabbling into Carbineer.

Hi, I'm currently going back up CH, this time to Master it (After dropping 0303 to get SL - what a mistake), I have wanted to be a CH right from the first time I saw someone riding a Bantha, or pulling out a Kinogila that was as big as Anchorhead
I am currently Master Rifleman, CH 2211 but going for master, and medic 3300. My options are either take medic up to 4400 which is handy for both me and my pets (have not yet used food to cure wounds, always use tendwound) or drop medic and get Ranger 0030. How useful is Trcking 3 for finding animals to tame - I've never had the skill so don't know how effective it is.
Secondly, anyone have any tips on the best way to get XP. I've never "ground" xp before, I took about 2 and a half months to get Master Rifleman as I never buffed and was happy to take my time, BUT I am chomping at the bit to get Master CH
I worked out today I would have to do approximately another 260 Piket missions to get Master CH which seems like a bit of a drag (10 a day for a month - ouch!). So, any ways to maximise my time/XP ratio?
In fact any tips in general would be handy. I have a crate of good pet stims (+1128), and a shirt with +14 tame and some trousers with about +25 on them, though both in hideous colours so only put them on when people are not looking lol!
Cheers in advance.

I am Master Rifleman/working on MCH and have Ranger 0030. The tracking is cool it first but it gets old quickly. I'm thinking about droping it and going 4000 in TKA.

K cheers for the replies guys - I'll keep medic then
I don't use buffs at all really (a whole different topic but basically don't like quadrupling my stats, I use brandy as ~450 to my stats for 40 mins seems acceptable). Also it means I don't have to get annoyed with medics healing the AFK tumblers while I am injured in the corner
My only concern with the Geo caves etc is don't the players there all start giving you grief if you start attacking things they are fighting?
