I never even saw this supposed "SOE" link. I went directly to Gamestop, because I've used them many times, and then preordered from the exact link that was on the home Gamestop page. The game page had the bonus offer (otherwise I would have used EBgames) so I went ahead. Order date: October 10th

always happened 2 me, never got my action figure for battlefront, didnt get my beta key for jtl, so i said screw it... andi went with ebgames.com, they r the best, and i have had 100% positive feeback with them

same problem, paid for next day air just for the bonus, open box, no key.

Agreed. Again, I think most fault is with SOE, all I think gamestop should have done is address the issue in some fashion, put a link up or something. As it is I know Gamestop lost quite a few customers over this fiasco. I don't blame them, as they are only a retailer, but the issue was there and they did know about it. All they had to do is address the issue before it blew out of proportion.

i went and picked up JTL from gamstop tonight, i didnt pre order. i just walked in, said hey got JTL? and the girl was like hey other-guy-i-work-with, get a promo from the back. so i got me a flash speeder and a month old beta for not pre ordering, and picking the game up 3 or 4days after release. i guess i got yours. my bad.

Then call them for crying out loud! Did you not see what I listed that anyone who didn't get a disk that was promised one should do? Posted options in two different posts on this thread. I suggest you go back & re-read them & stop whining about it on here. Because after all what good is it doing you crying about it on here, hmmm? It's not getting you a key that's for sure.

I have had the same problem. I followed the link from the station window at the login, and have gotten no bonus CD Key. I preordered my first JTL through Amazon.com. Haven't gotten my order yet, so I'll see what happens. I then bought another SWG for a 2nd account and preordered another JTL from Amazon.de and have received my JTL as well, with no bonus CD. I don't recall seeing any deadline posted for when a cutoff is for the Pre-Order JTL Flash Speeder Bonus.
On a side note, even if I don't get the Flash Speeder, it is not the main importance of the game for me, since my main Char already has an AV-21. Of course as a Master Artisan, I can build bikes all day long too.

Here's why GameStop and SOE should attempt to resolve this issue.
Gamestop's failure was to make a distinction between the "promo" pre-order and the regular game that they continued to sell AS A PRE-ORDER. It is perfectly understandable that people would continue to believe that supplies were available since that is what SOE said. Gamestop really should attempt to make some kind of amends for the confusion they caused. Customers were not given the change to attempt to go elsewhere due to this misdirection.
However, if SOE also does not attempt to work with GameStop on this issue, there might be no resolution. SOE's assistance with the confusion is by being informed BY GAMESTOP (you may contact GameStop to verify this) that promo pre-orders were finished and SOE not updating their site. Customers were not given the chance to attempt to go elsewhere due to this misdirection.
They both had a hand in the confusion that misled customers to believe they would receive this free speeder.
Now, according to GameStop, they blame SOE for not sending enough promos for pre-order. This is true. However, GameStop STILL should have made a better effort to avoid the confusion which misled their own customers and not relied on SOE to handle it for them.
But GameStop is unable to generate codes for SWG, so your best bet is to take it up with SOE. Keep trying because persistance is pretty much the only way you'll get it.

I got my speeder but the preorder Cd arrived exactly the last day of beta...mind you part of the pre order bonus was access to the beta.
No sweat for me because I got accepted to beta anyhow, but I wonder if anyone got nailed by that.
This was a bungled promotion any way you cut it.

I'm a little disappointed, but not bothered. I ordered from Gamestop, under the impression that I'd get this beta disk. I didn't get it. It would have been nice...but to be honest, the Flash Speeder doesn't look all that spectacular anyway. Its missing one of the most important parts - the bigass gun on top.
