if you don't like actually using the skills, then why would you play as a Ranger? there isn't an AFK macro for getting trapping XP. You have to play the game at the keyboard.

Hell yeh I still wish there was survival xp. I love camping and it was always my first tree I did whenever I started a new Ranger on a diferent server. Hence why I always sport my Frontiersman title proudly.

Throw 6 traps at each creature you fight, that will get you 6 times the exp for each one.
And I definately miss Survival exp. It really seperated the Rangers from the rangers.

And actually there is a command /throwtrap, check the command browser in game, type in /throw and then hit <tab>. At least there was like a month after the CU last time I checked. Unfortunately there's no instruction on how to format the arguments you send it however, and I haven't been able to figure it out by guessing.
