Wrong. You will need to buy RotW to stand a chance in JtL. With SOE's history, since they are coming out with new higher mass ships, they will boost the difficulty of the space enemies, and those of us that don't pay for JtL again will be screwed and powerless.

Over the last 21 months I have invested a lot of time/ money into Star Wars Galaxies.
If I’m going to invest that much time/money into anything, I want to enjoy it with all the frills/bells/whistles that it has to offer.
I could not imagine playing SWG without JTL for the last 6 -7 months; the $24.99 was well worth it to me.
SWG has lost a significant amount of players over time due to the competitiveness of MMOPRG’s in general, some servers has been affected more than others.
If SOE has a strategy that they feel will protect their investment and “mine”, and increase the longevity of SWG, I’m all for it.

We paid to get JtL when it came out and play it right away. That is what we paid for. We did not pay for JtL and any future expansion pack. You may as well say people who dont pay for JtL or RotW should get those free when RotW comes out. Is that not fair. They paid for SWG.
If you want to play with features now, you pay. Most online games eventually come out with a Gold Edition which contain all the expansions to date. But some wish to play expansions early and pay for the privlege.
