Mine is an ubese belt. I paid a million for it. It has +4 pistol accuracy, +5 pistol speed, +6 unarmed accuracy, +6 unarmed damage.
I'm hoping the nerf doesn't affect items already in the game. In the past when they nerfed equipment it didn't affect what people had. That's why you still see old prenerf weapons for sale, and why wookiee armor in the game didn't get the HAM hit.

it wont be as big as a GSP or anything though, just standard gurreck size

so you can make a Gurreck with a CL of 5? and would that be usable by a non-ch? I just want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly because I've been told in the past that this was not possible, but the person that told me that was kinda mad at me so...

Yes, the gurreck(as well as the other cat bodies of gurrcat and razor cat) can be made by BE's for a non-CH rather easily. The person who told you otherwise was wrong.
One more thing: Most non-ch pets you will find will be CL 10 (not 5) since that's the upper limit for non-CH pets.

I have always understood Syn cloth and reinfoced fiber pannels to not need any expirmentation by the tailor since the quality doesn't matter to us as Smiths. is this correct?
plus someone told me tonight that the reason im gettting 1% less on my chestplate is because of either my syn cloth or RFP..is there any merrit to this?

There is debate about this, mainly cause the ingame documentation is rather lacking. The consensis is no, they do not have an effect.

thanks guys, I was starting to think I was going crazy...But is there any reason why my chestplates are 69base when i can get everything else to 70base? same materials of course...

There are percentages and fractions that are not visible on segments and layers that effect the final product. Basicly chest pieces require more segments, but the fractions work less and less when more segments are used. You might notice that gloves can sometimes get slightly higher resists, its the oposite. Try raising your layer or segment base a few percentage points (as in the experimental percentages during experimentation), its not a great difference but neither is the drop that using 4 segments in a chest causes, so it shouldn't be too hard to do.

So if I understand correctly, the syn cloth and RFP have nothign to do with my 1% point lower on the chestpeice...
now if I understand the reason why my chest peice is lower is that fact that i may need to bump up my base somehow a littel more to make sure its 70base and not 69...if my layers are maxed on base and my segment is maxed on base and i max out the chest peice...it comes down to my resourses....correct? In other words, without better resourses im up a creek.

If I go get all the necessary badges to become glowing, and the old man visits me because of that instead of me just waiting for him to visit me because of how many professions I've mastered. Will I still get the free skill boxes for having mastered a bunch of professions?
