Thread: Advanced X-wing

Someone said the other day that they couldn't use a Jedi Starfighter they purchased from someone, without having gone through the quest themselves.

I know you have to be min. 4333 pilot to use these awarded ships.

With respect to the Advanced X-Wing... as a 4333 pilot can I use one purchased from someone? Or do I need to do the quest myself in order to use it?

Anyone know?

Thanks.

I personally think though that it means you are too lazy to go and do the quest. it takes like 45min total, and you get good loot and good money.

Thanks, kid, for making assumptions about how much time I have to do things while managing my online time with a half-dozen toons and related profession activities. So, while I may forego this quest to have the enhanced mass of the ship by engaging in active ingame commerce, I suppose I'm also lazy by not crafting my own armor?

**** me.

LOL, nice reply, but that's fine if you dont craft your own armor, heck i dont even have a crafting acharcter, i just feel that why should you get a good ship without doing any of the work? now i know this isnt the real world where you can sleep with your boss to get a raise, but still you should have to dso some work in order to get it. b esiides owning it throiugh the quests gives you a feeling of rghtouesness, that you earned it.

Now, I can understand that if you are bugged and all but this Newb isn't, he simply is lazy, expect next he'll wat people to grind for him. Anyways, I don't have a Jedi, don't want one, nor do I have an alt, don't beleive in them, so question back to you, why don't you get an alt since you seem so wierd about having alts get it for you?

Vet, 2 pre-CU Jedi's, hi-production crafter. You sound like an idiot for passing judgment for someone buying something in trade and commerce, and likely are.

In all seriousness, this is actually a fun quest and if you can ever find the time, I would highly recommend doing it.

What is most important to you? Would you give me the happiness of stealing it from you?

You can never fly too much.

I actually am working on that, among vast numbers of other things pulling at my time. Found I didn't even have ROTW enabled on this toon, LOL, and it wouldn't let me purchase yesterday (login problems with SOE.) So, trying again today, and mainly because the only one I've seen for sale was sold already once I got the first answer.

You know if you had simply stated that your toon didn't have ROTW you and I could have saved oursleves alot of angry typing, but anyways, my point still stands, do the dam quest.

Agree wiuth that, I may be bugged but I flew the quest myself, if it it was my alt flying it. I mean, it isnt that hard a mission, I did it as a 1212 pilot.
