Real Star Wars Fans have left because of all the Jedi, Mando , and Super Battle Droid BS that is being used as "Content".
They are real fans because they are sickenedhow the DEVS mucked with the Continuity that they are familiar with. They did not need to throw any of the before mentioned things into the game. People would have bought the game because it was different. People would have bought the game if it had solid gameplay, they did not have to throw in the Jedi gimmick.
They do not need to throw in SBDs when there really none around during this timeline. Battledroids were outlawed I think, right? Mandolorians? I guess that is going to be there Anti-Jedi Remedy.

You know, I doubt the majority of people left over those issues. Most htat leave cite the "bugs" as the reason. Sure, some have left because of continuity.
However, if you are expecting a 100% faithful representation of Star Wars from this time period, then you will never be satisfied with SWG, you might as well move on now.
I'm a very big Star Wars fan, and I notice a lot of continuity breaks, but I don't let it stop me from enjoying the game. Just because I haven't left doesn't mean I'm any less of a fan.
