I really liked the screenshots. I was wondering if serious space weather (nebulas, lightning, etc) would appear realistic or not. Obviously, it will be judging by the screenies. I'm not too worried about the apparent lack of missions available. This type of environement should keep me busy exploring and fighting for quite some time, till mining operations and other such stuff become available down the line.

Is next weeks Friday Feature going to be:
"Well, due to staffing problems as well as funding problems. JTL has been cancelled and there never was a BETA, we were just kidding with you about that. But to make up for this, we are increaseing the number of space ships that fly over static cities. Here are a few screenshots."
Im sorry Devs. But I actually am looking forward todeploying to the Middle East, atleast the people who lie to me I have the chance to either kill them, or have them arrested. And I can finally break my addiction of SWG and tell SOE to sit and spin on their products by never purchasing one again.
I admitt, they are cool looking pictures. But, I was just hoping for some information on anything useful. Im sure you guys are busy and not trying to flame, but how about some useful information on:
1. BETA Scheduals
2. JTL ... something useful.
3. COMBAT REVAMPS
4. GCW Revamps
5. Profession Changes
6. PATCH RELEASE SCHEDUALS
There, there are 6 things you can provide information on. And I'll bet it takes just as long to get a schedual from a Programer as it does to pull screenshots out of some file and post them on a website.

The screenies are great, and pretty (probably workstation videohardware, sure, but still pretty).
What's all this moping and threatening and /fehing about?
With the river of bile flowing through this place no wonder the devs are scarce.
If they release info, people complain. If they do not release info, people complain.
If they release a little info, people complain that it's the wrong subject. If they release a lot of info people complain they left something out. If they stop by to say 'hi' people complain that they are wasting time not releasing info.
Are we seeing a keyword here?
People complaining about "quality" or "content" of Friday Features should take a look at the history:

Since when has FF been a source of hard-line up to the week public release information?

Actually, I believe that's the Hutt Heavy fighter with some heavy customization...it's an older pic...been around for a while. I still think it's a cool pic because it shows off how awesome the customization engine is for JTL and the Hutt ships.
For the not directed at you but the thread as a whole parts:
Yes, TH HAS been on vacation until the end of this week - the correspondent summit didn't start until yesterday or today.
Summer doesn't end until Sept. 21...
I would have liked a more fully featured "Friday FEATURE", but I really like what I see in the new shots.

I'm still unable to tell form the screenshots... are the planets 3D and orbitable, or are they 2D static backdrops?
