This first real day of JTL play I say is the worst day playing any of these MMO types. I think the launch was the worst I've been in. The worst lag that I've ever been in with rubberbanding in what's suppossed to be a fast paced personal skill based game.
If I would have known the lag issue would be around on live, there would have been no way I would've gone to 4 stores before I found a copy. I was in the test, and the worst thing about it was the last day when they put up that hotfix that broke everything.
The added a so called fix that broke everything, I was hoping they had fixed their mistake, but right now there's terrible lag in doing everything. This is definately not my system. Especially when I've been able to play the game when it was smooth in testing. and I have system specs higher than what is even recommended.
So I give the JtL experiance a 1.
I really am sorry I spent money that I shoulda spent on something else. Like rent.

9 Much improved over the Beta. As far as my play goes, it has been difficult enough for a challenge, but not so to dicourage me.

Beacuse it still has some annoying bugs(can't see blatser fire) bur nothing major. Graphics are very good and the missions are now doable(spend 5 days ona tier 1 mission in beta) and not 10 because i dont wanna seem like a suck up

I would rate it at 8/10. I was one of those that tested in Beta for a good while, but quit. I was not enjoying it at all. I broke down and picked up my pre-order and installed it yesterday. I logged in a flew some missions with my guildmate and had an absolute blast. It was one of the most fun playing times that I had in the last couple of months on SWG. I always thought the graphics looked great and the movement was smooth. It is a visually wonderful game. I had one minor problem (most likely user error) where for some reason my view would follow my target no matter where, rather than remaining locked forward, couldnt figure out how to take it off, but it cleared up after I logged on/off.
My biggest complaint from Beta, that still exists today is that it still feels like two completely seperate games. There is no connection between the old ground SWG that I have played since launch and JTLS. I still dont see the connection, but to tell you the truth, I still had a lot of fun yesterday.

As of 0900 EST 10/29/04, the CURRENT AVERAGE is 7.6 ! Still pretty solid.
This is from over fifty responses. I did not include two zero ratings because the raters admitted to not playing the live version of the game. There wasa single0 rating andone 1 rating out of 57 responses. Removing these outliers brings the average up to7.9.
