giving jedi a jedi pilot profession doesn't nessecarily mean giving jedi force lightning in space, or an increadable EMP of force to knock others ships outa space.
giving them certain powers like recharge their shields with their force (like giving an astromech the ability to adjust shields or eshields) but giving them lightnign or something like that was only a suggestion... doesnt mean it will get out there

And Luke used the X-Wing. Therefore, in this timeline the X-Wing is the Jedi Starfighter. If it is good enough for him, then it should be good enough for you.
In fact, if you want a Jedi Starfighter, just rename your ship "Jedi Starfighter" problem solved.

Dead wrong. Jedi is a ground profession, ground factioned Imperials are not the ones with Imperial ships, they are Imperial Pilots and Rebel Pilots, JTL professions, not non-JTL professions. You are dead wrong, it's very different. No other non-JTL profession gets any extra piloting skills or special ships.
If Jedi get extra benefits in space over others, then there will be risks/penalties: i.e. visibility (hard to miss a Jedi in a Jedi-only ship) and XP loss, maybe even bounties in space. I almost wish these Jedi who keep asking for it get it.
As for the argument that it's nicknamed "Jedi starfighter" so it should be Jedi-only, does that mean that the fighter nicknamed "Grievous'" ship is going to be Grievous-only? Same for the Royal Guard TIE.

You can tell the majority of Jedi dont have any IQ higher than 5.
Its not called the JEDI STARFIGHTER. Its called the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor. That is NOT Jedi Starfighter to my own eyes. Plus, Just like the Royal Guard Ship, Are only Royal Guards going to be able to fly them?
Devs: Yes
People: Wait...There are no Royal Guards. Oh well, WERE SCREWED.
lol. The Jedi have enough as it is so go back to your little houses and run away from BHs to lose some time because they need to fix the CU and Smugglers first sweetie.

blah blah... The grind is excruciating. And it comes with the most grief. One little reward liek a ship isnt a big deal at all.
Did Jedi grind in space? Not the last time I looked. Why should they get extra rewards and benefits in the space game? It's not a "little" reward.

My god people. Everyone is like the continuity police. You people are going to have to understand that this "game" does not perfectly mimic the movies verbatim. You act like what occurs in the movies puts the rest of the galaxy in a vacuum where nothing else was ever occuring unless you actually saw it in the film. Just enjoy the fact you are playing a MMORPG in the StarWars setting and stop complaining.
As for the Jedi Starfighter what the heck isthe matter with adding end game content? Isn't that partially what the whole Jedi Class is? They Gave Rangers, Commando's, and BH's Mandalorian armor and I didn't see any complaining from the Jedi. Yet you whine that there is a class specific ship? If they would have given you guys the Firespray I doubt there would be any gripeing, so why do so now? I think every class should get stuff that is for it and that no one else can useas itadds diversity to the whole game.
I am however against Jedi getting any special treatment in space as far as using the Force in space. Unless its just specials that act simularly to other (Reb/Imperial/Privateer) classes and that they are simply for flavor and do not give any real advantage.
