I hope I can get to know this profession better. Seems like alot of math work envolved (really really wishes he would have paid attention last year in math instead of sleep and talk) but I guess that is what makes me want to keep going. I have been everything in this game but BE and yet to really find a challenge. Good thing BE is so confusing because it seems like a great challenge.

Actually with those resists, in that order it would be 26, the slots arent averages they're weighted, in the case of resists the weighting is 40% Physique, 25% Prowess, 5% mental, 5% Psychology, 25% Aggression.
Mirrls pet crafting guide (in the stickies) has great information on making pets.

I am currently a master armoursmith and MTK and am thinking of changing my combat profession and was toying with the idea of pikeman, could someone please list the types of pikes you can get and what armour penetration and average damage you can get please.

You have to start with a wood staff - real sh*t but dont have to use it long.
Then onto the comabt staff - not much better but same deal
Then i think you get cert for a lance or a nightsister lance - better weapon but only good until then next level
Now you get our favortite - A LVA - Long Vibro Axe. Buy them from a WS but then real good ones are looted. They have medium armour piercing and excellent dmg. I grinded to Master with a 1.5 spd 550 max dmg LVA (looted)
You also get the cert on the next level for the Vibro Lance - these are good but most mobs have good resists and they dont get as high dmg as the LVA's
A good LVA stats are about 600+ and 4.0 spd or below. Crafted one max out about 540dmg and 3.6 spd i think
Im currently using and 978 2.2 spd LVA and they go as high as 1500 to 2000k dmg.
From someone who has done a bit of TKA you are going to enjoy Pike at Master Level. Way better for mobs and kicks ass in pvp if you have the right weapons.

i just finished my village stuff and killed that jedi with the shrines near him. A system message told me to go meditate at a shrine, so i go infront of the shirne and meditate (im a tkm). then i choose the option to meditate and it says i have to be respectful and some sh*t. any suggestions :-)

im a bh and i need to take up a melee prof to change my style of play and was wondering
wat swordsman is like against a jedi and pretty much anything els, wat damage they do etc

ok, i have an interesting day with xp loss... please let me know if anyone else has had any problems with xp loss when cloning.
ok, it all started when a bh came up to me, and started attacking. i faught back, and he wasent doing any damage. so he switched to his llc and started hitting me for 1300 points of damage at a time. i then decided to change over to tkm and put my 80% electricity comp armor on. we were fighting like that for a while when i saw a reb mbh and 3 knights (with anathor char that i had at the outpost). i figured that they might be after me,seeing as i am an imp,so i /burst ran away from the first bh, called my swoop, rode that for anathor 1km, then got off and loged out.
when i loged in about 10 min laterto check and make sure everything was ok, i was already in the cloning center, got the system message saying that i had lost 200k jedi, but i was missing about 500k xp. i knew that something was wrong, so i made a cs ticket, then waited. i got a responce saying that they were unable to confirm that i was even cloned, so they would not be abel to reimburse me for my xp.
i send anathor ticked telling them the exact time i loged in and found my self dead. the responded by sending me a tell, and so we converesed for a while, but got no-ware. basicly they said that i was tripple-incaped by something (they woudlent tell me, or didnt know)... and that i "auto-cloned" beacuse i was LD (neaver heard of this happening before, but the csr said it was from one of the publishes), and i still had all of my visibillity, seeing as it wasent a bh that killed me. i was told that the 500k jesi xp loss was due to the fact that i cloned (200k) and that i was issued a perelty based on the lvl of my jedi (300k). he said that the other penelty dose not have a system message, but is assesed whenever a jedi char clones.
basicly what i want ot know from everyone else is:
have you ever heard of being "auto-cloned" when you are LD
and, has aneone ever had this second, un-anounced, xp penelty when they have cloned

No, I've never heard of "auto-cloning" when you're LD. But, regarding xp loss, you lose xp on DB and additional xp if you clone (don't know the xp loss rates off the top of my head).

i know that there is a 200k penelty if you clone, and a penelty if you get a db from a BH you will lose xp equil to 2000 times your current skill poitns invested in jedi skils.. as far as i know there wasent any other penelty when you die from a pve death, only the 200k when you clone.

Sorry, I wasn't clear on that.....when I said DB, I meant pvp DB.....I'm asleep at the wheel today.
