If I'm not mistaken, there's also a merchant trainer right outside the Cantina in Coronet (under that little tent thing next to the Bazaar).

i just made master armorsmith and i am trying to make stun armor but i am having problems getting the base effectiveness up. what i normally end up with is 80% elect 38% stun and 44% effective
i was wondering what my stun layer stats and adv composite armor stats should look like to make 80% elect 38% stun 60%+ effectiveness armor
any help would be apreciated

since we are doing stun and just forgetting HAM here is how to make stun layered composite
max stun on layers, then add to base
on segs max base, thenlower HAM
on final combine max base, then lower HAM
WIth stin layers just try to get stun up as much as possible and base up, don't even wory about HAM. Try it this way, then if your armor still sucks, go get better resources.

Ok right now I'm a Master smuggler/Master Swordsman/4/4/0/4 of TKA. I love swordsman and not going to drop it, I like smuggler cause I can slice my own armor and weapons and I like the meditative tree of tka but I'm really wanting to master brawler. Soo what does everybody think is better:
Master Swordsman-Master Smuggler-4/4/0/4 of TKA
or
Master Swordsman-Master Brawler-TKM-0/0/4/0 Medic-1/0/0/0 Scout
I'm mainly PvE but I do some PvP. Any help you guys can give will be great!
Thanks

I think it boilsdown to fun factor. For me I chose to master doctor instead of brawler, so now I have Master Sword/Master Doc/Scout0010. Basically, I chose the fun of being a doc, for me that is, over being a little better in PvP. I can do prettymuch anything in PvE, but if I really wanted to PvP, I should have picked master brawler, or some lines in TK or Fencer. The fun of doing doc outweighed all those other options.
So master smuggler isnt really helping your sword much at all, but if you have fun doing something totally different then do it. To me picking up fencer or TK is just more of the same brawling and doesnt allow me to diversify.

I agree with Redondo, it's what you enjoy doing. I also went with Master Doc and Master Swords with a touch of scout for terrain navigaition. I can heal and buff myself and friends, fight foes to my hearts content. When I get tired of that, I can buff in Coronet. Lifes good!

Ok I got BE today which took longer then I thought since I kept getting side tracked on other things but I finally got it. I made my first pet which is possibly the worst creature I have ever seen but it was my first so I am going to keep him for awhile. He is level 2 and 85 ham and 30-40 attack with no resistances what so ever but it was DNA from what ever I could get around theed. I checked the dna samples and was so lost plus I tried to add all this stuff in each of the 5 things so I might be able to get the best out of my dna.
I did realize that not only was I confused by the FAQ here but now I am even more confused by all the stuff as BE as a whole atleast for making pets. Can anyone just tell me what each of those little things actually does straight out? I really want to do the profession because even though it took me over an hour to get just 5 samples to make my crappy first pet but it was fun. Really just anything that can help me understand the profession a little better would be great. Also please don't use any abbreviations because those are very confusing for stupid people like me.

Sin,
Wish I could help. I'm just as confused and I'm sure the people that frequent this board thinks I should change professions. But guess what...
I MASTERED TONIGHT. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. ok
So as much as I can help you with. Depends on what you want to make and how good you want to make it. Like your resists...they average out. IE...
you go out and sample an animale that has 40% resist kinetic and Energy... you get 5 of those samples....you use them your pet will have 40% kin/ene...get it?
Ok you go out again and get a 10/20/70/80/40... = 220 avg = 44%
and as you get higher up in your Engineering Techniques and when you master you get experimentation points...your rate of xperimenting goes up. (you see this when you are crafting near a crafting station)
I'm still learning and for the most part i do just Intellegent Nanonutrients (INs) and Broad-Spectrum Nutrients (BSN) for my chef.
I dabble with creatures cause it's fun. And I have 2 bodyguards andtheir 3 pets each (6) to go with me when i get higher/better dna on harder planets.

For PvP side you should ready the PvP guide post i written. i also clearly stated that you do NOT need master brawler althought it is a great asset to have to be effective in PvP. PvE wise you wont miss the master brawler too much. so it comes down to your fun factor as it were
