For me, my best time in game is when the AI got a little smarter, and I got tangled up in a twenty minute dogfight. I limped out of there the victor. I earned every XP of that fight. Oh, yeah.

My most memorable experience was being upset about not getting into the beta.. then look in email again and my invite was sitting there.
Was a good laugh for me and my PA

My best memory is of the Sorosub...
Loading it full of goodies and taking a few passengers around, I was piloting and I was like, *You captain has turned on the no smoking light, and has asked that you remain seated as we are about to make the jump to hyperspace, please place your trays in the full upright and locked position"....
My co-pilot also dressed in the Tie uniform joined me in the cockpit in his chair and buckled in... The hyperspace calculations were finished and the noises started going as the timer clicked down. and BOOM the camera backed out to show us both sitting there and our ship made the jump and then it panned out to show the whole yacht dissapearing off the screen...
When we loaded in my co-pilot was quoted saying... Wow that was....
and I finished the sentence for him... AWSOME!
The only thing that could match that was me travelling to the PVP zone... I about pissed my pants when I saw the Star Destroyer and how HUUUUGE it really is, I mean you get an idea from the movies, but flying along side it? WOW! I considered that the A.I. sucked so I flew into a big batch of Tier 5 x-wings and z-95s to find to my surprise I was TOAST

Going up in a MP ship for the first time and realising how well the code had been written to handle multiplayer ships in realtime. Then going up again and realising how much difference a "smooth" pilot had made on the first run.
And probably seeing the inside of the yacht for the first time, decorating it, and plonking down a vendor as a barmaid.

The "OH WOW!" factpr of seeing what the artists had in store for us in space. Then the realization that most of it didn't work and good portion probably wouldn't at release (deja vu).
