That is still true. For getting exp, use the lowest level pet you can and don't forget that they only need to hit a mob 1 time to get exp. If you are with a big group, just pop your pet in for one hit and then back them out again.

Actually, they did tweak this a bit in the past. Depending on the level of mob you are fighting, a low level pet does not always yield the most experience. If you are fighting higher end stuff a pet around level 18 or 19 seems to be optimal. For lower end stuff, the lower the better but for Enraged Rancors and such a level 19 will give you more experience than a level 8-10.

When making bavoli, what is the best heavy food additive to use?

I've never used anything but nutrition additives in any food or drink. For bivoli which uses heavy nutrition additives the max is 120.

To be extremely technical, the "best" additive is the one that enhances the food stat you want to improve:

Multisaccharide Pentamate: Increase Bivoli's duration.
Nanoconstructors: increase stack size.
Carbocaloric Eliminator: Reduce filling
Intelligent Nanonutrients: Increase +wound treatment buff

Of course, what customers want 98 times out of 100 is the Nutrition bonus. Although to my mind, the gain from an additional +1 on the Bivoli (decimals get ignored) isn't that big of a deal, something like an additional +10 to +20 in the amount of the doctor buff or wound healing. But I put up several crates of two Bivoli batches: one was +25 with a stack size of 2, the other +24 with a stack size of 3 (and about 60s longer duration). The +25 are almost sold out (and I foolishly ran out of high quality carnivore meat), while the +24 are still sitting on my vendor.

Though to be honest, I forgot to change the name of the +24 stuff, so it's labeled only as "Bivoli Tempari", maybe customers don't check the details as often as I do when buying stuff.

If Jedi at the new knight level is to be equal to the current regular professions, why then does it cost us soo much more xp and grind than they do? If we are staying as a PvE Jedi and are considered only slightly better than regular classes what is the point of a 3000 hour grind when you could be the same for a weeks playtime to master a normal class?

(This is not intended to be a whine, just asking for some form of reasoning)

Disclaimer: This is my opinion and wholly my opinion on this topic whats stated may or may not be fact but this is what I think.

In my opinion the reason they are so called "nerfing" jedi to a "normal profession" level is that they believe that after pub 10 there will be more Jed irunning around. so to limit the jedi from ruling PvP they "nerfed" them and gave them a chance to become "uber" where other classes don' t have the same chanceee ( the FRS of course)

I can agree and see your point as to why they are nerfing down Jedi. But what I still don't understand is that if you don't go as far as the FRS why should our grind be 300 times longer than the other professions we are competing against? Just looking for logic is all.

It would be impossible to make logic of the situation as a whole.

I don't know, never tried most of the stuff I make. The obvious thing to do of course is to buy some Vayerbok and try for yourself.

simply put...yes the block food works...problem is...the block skill itself is...well not very good...either bugged, or it just does so very little that it might as well be bugged.

block reduces damage...doesn't avoid it like couterattack and dodge.

better choice would be to go with pikatta pie...the dodge bonus adds to your chance to make your opponent miss....not to the dodge skill (still wishing they'd rename the bonus to evasion...so it'd be more obvious as to what it does).
